Very grim in the rooms and full of unpleasant types..ask d for a plate and knife and Fawke and told they are not aloud to give then out (how many people bring a plate with them when travelling 🤷‍♂️

Strong smell of drains by the main entrance and homeless people being accommodated there drinking in the smoking area throughout the night.

Walls are very thin and you could hear people chatting and moving about in the rooms next, above and below us. 1 member of staff sorting check ins and working at the bar in the evening, meaning a lot of time waiting. No spaces in the car park as some cars parked over 2 spaces. I highlighted this to the staff on reception but nothing done.

Waiting quarter of an hour to get registered after a long journey to get to the hotel. I had informed reception that we would be arriving between 6 and 7 p.m, we arrived 6.50 pm. The booking not being found quickly .Not given a ground floor room as requested, told that breakfast was between 7 and 8 a.m.!!! The gentleman on duty seemed overwhelmed but he was helpful and very polite. He told us that we could have breakfast at 9.30 am. We stayed in room 201, which was VERY noisy, extractor fans or heating system plus the lift. We got very little sleep and will certainly never stay at this hotel ever again. Such a shame when we met such super staff who seemed over worked. Please get someone to answer the phone!

Charlie and Aakash were really wonderful this morning when they served us our rather nice cooked breakfast. The coffee was good and so was the orange juice. The bed was comfortable and the room was well laid out, having two mirrors was very handy. I liked the car park, plenty of space, I rang the hotel direct and was told I could have a ground floor room, breakfast at 9.30 am, no problem BUT I had to book online which I did. I received confirmation by email that I would be getting a ground floor room , very reassuring.

Very uncomfortable bed, almost impossible to change water temperature at shower, it was stuck and my partner needed to help me out set it, bathroom not very clean, smudges on floor and some marks in shower, i cleaned it before using. When i arrived, i was waiting for night receptionist for couple of minutes but he asked for how long i was waiting, so i guess he must been away for a while. Without any possibility to call him in anyhow so i could be waiting much longer.

Room was super hot, a million “no vaping/smoking” signs. As I left with my two young children we walked past 2 men asleep on the stairs…

Room was clean bed was old as sunken pillows were hard and uncomfortable , they take your card incass of damage , there was no hot ( just warm ) loadss of stairs was like a maze difficult to find your way out or to room

The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable Floor had a big dent next to bed The room was small and too warm, small opening at top off window . Next to the car park, a car alarm went off twice early in the morning.

Room was very dusty, kettle stand had to be cleaned before I could use it, dust all at the back of toilet, room very tired We are in our late 70s and were put in room 606 up 3 flights of stairs which had not seen the hover for a long time and very dusty, while younger persons were on floors under us ???

Not a lot, towels and bed linen ok but overall very disappointed The breakfast the 1st morning was a joke, table in reception, not asked about allergies, food was not up to standard to start with, when full english was brought out and placed in front of us, my partner enjoy the FE, bacon excellent and food was hot Next morning we were in what looks like to be a ballroom and it was a help your self. waiter there was very helpful but did not really speak English

No lift. No breakfast menu. At breakfast if we needed something we had to wait until someone appeared (we were left alone for quite a long time) although we were checked on when they did appear. No information brochure about the hotel. In the room, no rack to put suitcase on, had to put it on the floor. No hooks for coats though there were coat hangers in the small open wardrobe. In the bathroom, no hooks, no seat/stool, no bin, no shelves to put wash bag cosmetics etc. on.

Parking for lady drivers right at the door. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of hot water. Warm & comfortable. Extra pillows provided in room. Shower gel & soap provided. Thick towels.

Noisy. Could hear other residents. And very noisy tank or some sort of machinery kept going off every half hour or so. Also the fire alarm in the room has a very annoying light that flashes all night and it’s right above the bed.

I wasn't expecting much and it didn't disappoint. The room (room number 519) was beside the stairs and there seemed to be a constant stream of people passing it and really struggled to get any sleep. Was booked in for two nights but left after the first.

I can't think of anything at the moment, oh yes the rooms were spacious and it was clean.
