Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceWhilst there was a good selection on offer for breakfast, when the full English breakfast was served, it was swimming in oil and made the bacon, sausages and eggs very unpleasant to eat.
The location of the hotel was really good, just a couple of minutes away from the beach. We upgraded to a sea view room and very much appreciated the view. Being able to leave the car in the hotel car park was a bonus. To reach the centre of Brighton, it was great to hire Beryl Bikes. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.

United KingdomThe only thing that I can say is that Best Western Hotels are generally in need of an update in terms of decor. But I personally don't care about that!
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, and generally like the Best Western Hotel franchise. The location was great for a beach walk into Brighton and for the Hove shops. Also Worthing is accessible from a bus on the seafront. Rooms were comfy, breakfast was good.

Good location for the Hove shops/ restaurant area and coastal bus routes. Quick access to seafront. Hotel is well presented and guests' needs are well catered for eg outside food delivery welcomed and crockery supplied in the bar area.
