The bed was a little small, and the room felt a little expensive for the size. But still nice.

Quality of food was excellent, as we're the facilities. The location is very picturesque.

The hotel decor is a little tired and dated, but conversly you could say it adds to the 'charm/character'.

The Executive Suit was massive, very clean. Access was fine for me, but climbing 2 fights of a circular staircase may be a challenge to guests with restricted mobility. View from the room at the top of the tower was very nice. Breakfast served from 07:00hr, which suited my race schedule, very good selection with vegetarian option to the cooked breakfast. Evening meals of a good standard with very nice staff in the bar area. My activities in the area were based at Donington Race Circuit, and for this the hotel location is excellent, circa 12mins.

Our room was cold as the central hearing didn’t work. But the reception team sorted it out with a portable electric heater and then it was lovely.

Lovely people, nice quiet location. The evening meal was amazing. Best steak I’ve had in years. The cooked breakfast was really fresh and tasted superb.

Nothing really bathroom was a bit tight but the shower was superb and the bed was comfy.

We were in a cottage room, which was rather drab and tired. A mirror over the desk area would have been useful.

This hotel has a beautiful setting and an interesting history, which I think they should make more of. The breakfast was good, with a selection of fresh fruit, cereals and hot food.. A nice evening meal in the brasserie. Car parking is also free which is a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Being a little bit of the beating track ment we had a meal at the hotel. The meal was very tasty but like allot of places these days it was not hot enough especially for a Sunday lunch.

It was in a nice location and was good value. The room was very comfortable.

Expected robes in the suite. Ordered the cheeseboard for dessert, expected a variety of crackers, paying nearly £11 for 4 Jacob’s crackers and small chunks of mild cheese is quite steep.

Staff in the restaurant very slow not a lot off choice and food wasn't that good you never got what was advertised on the menu big let down it was quiet too but reception insisted on booking as apparently got very busy this wasn't the case we rushed to get back to eat and was just me and my partner there

A lovely hotel, great location, pleasant room and good value. We are at the hotel both evenings and food and service was excellent. Breakfasts were particularly good and served in such lovely, traditional surroundings.

Bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Could do with a new mattress, or at least a thick topper.

Room exceeded expectations, ( top floor cottage room ). Spacious bedroom and recently renovated bathroom, very quiet and peaceful , directly overlooking the river. Breakfast was excellent value , good selection of hot and cold buffet, with hot beverages served by the staff. Perfect location for Oulton Park, less than 10 minutes. Overall, very good value and would definitely stay again.
