There was nothing experienced that upset us. Accommodation was clean. All basics supplied I.e.coffee, tea bags, milk, 2 chocolate biscuits, shower gel, towels.

Stunning views, in all areas, surrounding main complex. Our bungalow style accommodation was great. It included french doors opening out to outside garden furniture. Extensive grass area beyond. Kitchen had everything needed. This enabled choice of eating out or in.

Floor in cabin had not been cleaned; floor had a covering of human and animal hairs (including pubic in bathroom). Not good!! Service in restaurant was poor - ill informed and forgetful. Food came too quickly to have been freshly cooked despite menu stating “please bear with us as all meals are freshly cooked”. Would have given this feedback at checkout (rather than here) but no one asked!

This is one of my partner and I’s favourite finds in 2024 - the location is breath taking and uniquely serene. The staff went above and beyond for us and made us welcome from day 1. The restaurant was superb and the amenities were excellent. Our room in the lodge was perfect - large, clean, comfortable with amazing natural lighting and views. We will be back!

Scrambed eggs were strange. Tattie scone first day a bit frazzled under a heat lamp Some of the landscaping upkeep is flagging behind (the grass is long, decking needs fresh coat, flowerbeds near spa facilities overgrown with weeds)

Spa - Jennifer deserves a special mention. Excellent treatments Liked high end spec of fixtures and fittings . Space in room Peaceful Great pool are Remote Shop stocked with food items . Views . Dining was well organised , staff very good .

Didn't realise there was a radiator in the room untill the middle of the night so we were boiling in it. We thought at first it may have been underfloor heating. All a bit rushed with late check in swim dinner and bed. I wish radiator was off when we arrived in August as too warm and found room too small.

Some of the property is looking a bit tired. The cottage has all the amenities we needed, and while none of this spoiled our stay, some the cottage and communal facilities are well worn, and the cottage windows are starting to fail in a couple of places - affecting the view out from the living area. The opening times for the leisure facilities are too short. It would have been nice to be able to use the pool before breakfast and in the evening, and potentially an adult only session to make it more relaxing. But again this didn’t stop us enjoying the facilities, it just meant we had to plan our day around availability.

The setting is beautiful, and the property really makes the most of it. We stayed in the cottages and the view of the marina is lovely with a nice seating area to enjoy. The leisure facilities are also well situated to make the most of the views - exactly like the pictures. Breakfast was included in our stay and the service was impeccable. All the staff couldn’t do enough for us.

Good, clean and very comfortable room ( bed was very comfy). Food was lovely ( I had lamb and hubby had hand pressed burger, both were delicious), good selection and tasty breakfast. Staff friendly. Great view. Stay also included 90 mins of use of pool/hot tub and spa which was added bonus.

I booked one of the cottages, which on arrival we were very impressed with both the size, modern features and cleanliness. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen equipment etc plentiful. We used the Spa three times during our visit utilising the one and half hour slots to the full on each occasion. Spent all the time in the outside heated infinity pool and the two heated jacuzzi's which were amazing. Weather was touch and go, but did not detract from any of our activities we had organised. The complimentary round of golf on the Kyles of Bute golf course was very much enjoyed.

Unfortunately when we arrived in our lodge the window had been left open so we had lots of midges and moths. It was very warm in the room but we were able to use the portable fan which helped
