We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomMore tea bags and milk please, just seemed we were going to reception to replenish our tea/coffee a few too many times.
The room was clean, a very good size with a comfortable bed. extra towels and pillows were provided. Sound proofing was good as we didn't we hear the traffic at all. Unfortunately it made the room very airless and in the heat I would imagine very stifling, a fan is provided. So if you want the window open I would suggest ear plugs. Had to ask for extra milk and teabags a few times, as only provided with one tea bag and milk each. During our stay, we noticed a bulb gone, and the extractor fan was not working properly in the bathroom, We reported it and the faults were acted on. This time we didn't pay the extra £11 for breakfast, as not big eaters ,although previously we have eaten breakfast there and had no complaints. A choice of full English or continental , its a buffet service. On leaving the hotel site, there are car park barriers for patrons of the hotel and the road takes you on to a roundabout which is usually very busy. There is a KFC, and an Asda Express Garage, for snacks and papers, plus a Cash machine, on the same site as the hotel.

United KingdomI was walking the Cambrian Way. it took me a long time beforehand to work out a safe way to walk from the Pontypool Park gates area to the hotel (google maps suggested walking down the dual carriageway). I realise relatively few people walk there but it would have been helpful if the hotel provided some advice beforehand about using the path by the canal to walk from the central town area.
Comfortable room. Good breakfast with service starting conveniently early at 06.30am. Harvester pub located very near so it was possible to buy a good meal rather than just fast food without needing to go very far away.

United KingdomGreat little hotel. Friendly welcome, very clean and a lovely comfortable bed. Loved the big fluffy towels too. Lots of places within walking distance to get a bite to eat and the hotel has its own bar area. Didn't eat breakfast so can't comment on that. Large well lit, secure car park. Can't really find any fault. Will definitely stay again if I need accommodation in the area.

United KingdomRooms are a bit on the smaller side. It's fine if you are only spending a few nights, but if staying longer, it may be a bit cramped. If you don't have transport, taxis can become a bit pricey.
Rooms are clean, TVs are great size, staff are always friendly and helpful, location is decent. KFC, McDonald's and Harvester are easily walk-able. Reasonable garage with Subway, and Greggs on-site.
