A lot of stairs. Specially if the lift had been left open accidentally which happened a lot

The mattress on our bed in the lodge was uncomfortable, I think they probably need updating.

The location, the hotels grounds, the sea view from our room, exploring the chateau, the friendliness of the staff.

We didn'tike the room allocated to us. It was in a new building, totally soulless and miserable, looks like a 60's block of flats, its called the Lodge, it isn't a Lodge at all, it was totally depressing. However, as soon as we spoke to Reception the gave us the choice of two different rooms. Nothing was too much trouble.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Food excellent. The Chateau was atmospheric and very comfortable. The location was outstanding. Food was very good too.

The breakfast. The scrambled eggs tasked odd. My husband had the eggs benedict which was cold

The staff at the hotel were amazing , we stayed for one night and everything about it met of our expectations. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff we asked to change rooms and this was done without fuss. The location can not be beaten for views of the Menai

The lodge (which we thought was in the main building)!is scruffy and needs updating. The room we were given was very small for the money we payed.so we complained and were moved to the main building to a room that wasn’t much bigger . It could be so much better if they spent a bit of money on it.

It was a beautiful building but needs a bit of tlc as it’s a bit tired looking. The staff were lovely young people. The location was great with stunning views.

Bathroom in room could do with a little tlc and the room ventilation wasn’t great. The lodge rooms could do with sound proofing. More seating on the lower part of the garden by the round table would be a good edition.

Lady on check in was very friendly and welcoming. The garden and patio overlooking the Menai was lovely and well maintained. View from room was excellent. Breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful property. The grounds and Chateau were exceptional. We had a room in the lodge which was comfy with fabulous views. If we stay again we will book the Chateau! The staff were amazing. Thank you.

The only small thing was that there didn't seem to be enough staff for breakfast and we're waiting for at least 15mins for coffee and toast wasn't quite enough full breakfast either, could probably have done with a bit more! But apart from that everything was wonderful. Evening meal was lovely, the food on offer was stunning! Couldn't fault it.

We love the chateaux, it's one of our favourite places to go for a special night, especially when the weather was as good as it was. Each room has it's very own distinct character so your never disappointed with the room that you book.

The room was quite small, furniture really needs updating. It was also far too hot in the room. I think when it’s hot they should invest in some plug air conditioning for the room to make the sleep more comfortable. (The fan did nothing)

The property itself was beautiful aswell as the surroundings. Bed was clean and comfortable. Staff were fabulous and the food was fantastic.

Breakfast - never a full choice on the buffet, service at times not up to standard, staff needed guidance with someone in charge Room - Lovely room but we paid extra for that, not the best view and the rooflights leaked when it rained heavy Bar - Not permanently staffed so was constantly trying to find someone to serve us, especially on the evening, the staff were very pleasant but not trained as bar staff

Lovely looking property location not bad, easy to get to Staff pleasant Breakfast - Hot food always presented and cooked well

The car park is fairly small . For us a little difficult as one of our family uses a wheelchair and there are a lot of steps. The hotel had inforrmed us there were steps and not particularly suitable for wheelchair users but we thought we could manage and we did but there are a lot of steps , built on a cliff

The building is stunning , the history and decor. The staff were lovely , the food was excellent , great chefs
