The room size was quite big and the bed was comfortable, we booked a pet-friendly room and had a large breed dog but it still perfectly fit! The staff was friendly and waited for us to check in late around 10 pm. Breakfast was nice too! The room was cosy and tidy and the location is 25 mins driving to Southampton and other towns.

The hallways and stairs looked drab and worn - around the windows etc were quite dirty too. I was a little disappointed but the room was nice. The stairs and hallways need a good overhaul. Needs some TLC in main areas.

I loved the thatched roof and quaint look of both the pub and the hotel. The room itself was nice and the staff were very friendly too.

Great location, great staff. The room exceeded our expectations, so comfortable and so many little extras, it just made our stay. The dog bowl and treats was a great touch. The food was absolutely amazing, the breakfast was to die for and best of all the staff are all so wonderful. We will definitely be going back if we get the opportunity. Thank you

The property was lovely. However, it is in in between two busy roads.

Lovely country, boutique establishment. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast menu and service great. Lots of grassy area for the dog, plus sausage for her at breakfast 👍 Also there was a female chef who was very personable who took time to chat to us and pamper our dog.❤️

Our toilet cistern broke down twice. The basin was blocked and cleared very slowly. The manager thought it had been cleared (presumably let down by his maintenance man) and when I reported it again he dealt with it himself.

The staff were excellent in being professional, friendly and helpful. We had one outstanding problem which the manager, Pedro, sorted out himself. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my wife, who had been injured. Emily was especially helpful. The food was very good.

since management has changed breakfast options have been reduced. you used to offer salmon and scrambled eggs which was a favourite and the management are not as customer friendly as Matt who always made a point of chatting to customers.

Dirty sugar bowl and tray full dust curtins were not fitted with hooks, so light was still coming through the window.so didn't get full night sleep .toilet seat lid had chip. Breakfast poor quality ingredients.for £150.00 pound night. I expect the room to be high standard.and better Breakfast.didnt expect member staff entering room as my husband was walking out shower not even sorry
