Piglets is an idyllic place. Such a peaceful location with lots to offer, the natural swimming pool, the Mediterranean terrace, games room and more! The food is beautiful!! And hosts Chrissie and Max are welcoming, helpful and friendly (and Harry & Henry too of course). Was a perfect place to spend a break - could have stayed longer!

Location is beautiful, lovely area and tucked away in to a quiet corner. Max & Chrissie are amazing hosts and breakfast especially was a particular highlight! Absolutely loved our stay and will 100% be returning!

What a wonderful stay! Such a nice place in the country to relax and unwind. Highly recommend even if you're local. The facilities were fantastic and the owners are amazing cooks.

Breakfast was fabulous, in our opinion its the best breakfast we've ever had. Beautifully presented, locally sourced produce and perfectly cooked. Homemade marmalade, apple juice & granola was delicious. The rooms were very well presented, beds extremely comfortable and a great walk-in shower room. Everything has been very well thought out. So much so that there wasn't anything we could fault

Our hosts Chrissie and Max were charming and helpful. Max's cooked breakfast was superb as was Chrissies home made granola and marmalade. Great location for exploring the countryside and great walks right on the doorstep.

Nothing to find fault with, if I was knit picking then maybe add a tea towel but I didn't mention this at the time, so not really fair to mention it now. We had lovely teas and coffees available in the room but having washed the cups ready for a second drink, maybe a tea towel to dry up.

Breakfast was very good, and they catered for my smaller appetite and weird breakfast requests. Max and Chrissie were really helpful with local knowledge and if it wasn't for them, we would not have got tickets for the Duxford air show or know about the road closures and diversions. Each room (we had Radwinter) had its own parking bay which was more than big enough for our very large car and seemed very secure. We booked a pizza one night which was delicious, and Chrissie very kindly made the salad to suit my taste buds. I really liked the serve yourself bar and nibbles with a large choice of drinks. Even ice cream, chocolate and crisps for late night feasts. We were looking really just for a bed for the two nights, but Piglets is so much more with a sauna, billiards, table tennis, gym, outdoor natural pool then an immense selection of books, videos and games from scrabble, draughts, backgammon and so on to keep you occupied. It was a lovely home from home with someone else doing the cooking.

The only thing we could mention was the noise from the room above - only someone walking about but seemed very little insulation between the rooms so noisy enough to wake us

It's all about being the best: best location, best food, best ambience, best bed, best pool, best honesty bar, best games room, best peace & quiet, all because of Max and Chrissie, who are the best hosts! Everything is to their exceptional taste and standards. Stay at least two nights, and don't bother going anywhere else.

Nothing that could be made better. The location is remote so those wanting bright lights will be disappointed.

Breakfast was superb and the rooms were lovely. Overall the facilities were first rate with a fantastic games room and pool (though the weather was inclement). We loved the honesty bar and residents lounge.
