We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe location meant a car was essential for the less mobile, like my wife and myself. road closures and diversions could be troubling but we still managed to visit many neighbouring towns including two visits to places in England.
the food for both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was outstanding with generous portions. The steak and ale pie and the porridge are worth an extra mention.

United KingdomLoose gravel surface leading to the parking areas was a problem on our motorbikes, but a member of staff allowed 3 of us to park on a small hard surface footpath area. The hotel bar closes at 10pm so if you fancy a late night drink you should go into Selkirk approx. 1½ miles away.
Breakfast had plenty of choice and well cooked. The rooms were very nice, spacious and clean. there seemed to be very few staff but they coped well with anything we asked of them.
