We liked the lodge because it was just like a home from home & was well equipped with everything we needed plus more than we expected. The lodge was situated in a lovely, rural location & the owners went out of their way to ensure we had a great time.

Can hardly criticise anything. Only note I would say is if your like me and you plan on doing a lot of cooking from scratch you may be lacking to the odd kitchen utensils but there was almost everything you need to to get by.

Fantastic location with a gorgeous view. Peaceful and isolated. A perfect nature getaway with walks through the fields and different animals to see. Amazing sunset views from the hot tub and veranda. Spacious but cosy at the same time inside, ideal for doing your own thing like reading a book or playing games but still feeling sociable.

This is the 2nd time we have been here and we will go back again, it has everything we need and the owner can’t do enough to help. Love having the horses and the highland cows so close by to go and see and a hot tub and sauna to relax in. It’s an amazing location and look forward to our next trip back here.

Very nice quiet lodge, lots of room and we loved the floorplan of the lodg. the sauna and hottub are a big bonus. Hottub was already heated when we arrived

there is nothing bad to say about pentland lodge our stay was fantastic.

we couldn’t have found a better lodge to spend a few nights in scotland for my wife’s birthday, the lodge was immaculately clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you could need. the hot tub and sauna were fantastic and the location was brilliant with lovely views. Gorebridge train station was only a 5 minute drive away and the train to Edinburgh took only 20 minutes which was ideal. Rob the host was a really nice man and was very welcoming, he was happy to answer any question or point us in the right direction. he was always contactable by phone should we need anything.

The only thing that was a bit off putting was the hot water for showers kept running out nothing major we managed.

spacious unique and very comfortable wooden lodge. Based near all local amenities. Horses all around which my Daughter loved and the friendly owner even let her walk one to the stables.
