Parking was allocated to residents staying in the cottages, our space was already occupied outside our cottage, the carpark was very busy and we ended up having to carry our bags in the pouring rain from the other side of the carpark, I did bring this to staff attention. The space outside our cottage remained occupied the whole of our stay. Also in the room we were provided with just 2 tea bags and one little container of individual milk, less than a teaspoon. For the £89 I would have expected at least more milk and tea bags.

We were meeting up with family for an anniversary meal, we travelled upfrom Hertfordshire and my brother and his wife live near the Pendle inn, so we were able to stay. The food was very nice, staff friendly bringing our dogs was an added bonus.

Facilities could have been a little cleaner, however for one night it was easy to overlook. Comfortable bed and lovely and peaceful, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Exceptional area, really lovely. Helpful staff.

The accommodation was good but it was not outstanding. Why? Spoiling a ship for a ha'porth of tar comes to mind. For the sake of a few extra minutes of attention once a week ,it could receive 5 stars. A broken toilet roll holder, a dirty tea towel, windows that needed cleaning, only one cup for 2 people etc. The restaurant was good and the food was excellent.. Nevertheless it was good value and a lovely place to stay.

    Location and very quiet.

No storage, wasn't a big deal for 1 night though. No breakfast available although alternative providers were minutes away.

Very spacious room with a seating area and microwave/fridge in addition to sleeping area. Pub did absolutely fantastic food! Can do various walks including Pendle hill from the door. Easy parking.

There were 3 bins at the cottage - 2 had not been emptied (bedroom and bathroom), there were also two items of clothing left in a drawer by the previous occupant. Cracked window in bedroom.

Bed was comfortable, location was excellent for walking local trails as well as Pendle Hill, food was very good and staff were excellent. Few minor niggles but nothing that would prevent us from staying again.

Accommodation was ok. Not very clean. TV did not have any internet connection. Found rappers at the back of the bedside lockers dust everywhere I found paper underneath the bed bits of all sorts. Not very nice at all.

The accommodation had an air of tiredness and could do with a refresh. Nothing particularly wrong; it was perfectly functional and had everything I needed, but the furnishings and facilities are all rather dated.

Great location. Rooms are located in an annex (six rooms in total). Assume all are the same and have king size bed upstairs. Downstairs has a settee and TV along with kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Very handy. I liked the location away from the pub. Good quality food - I can recommend the Pendle Pie!

Sofa was a little tired and curtains ripped and the fire alarm went of at 7.15 am in all the chalets so we left early.

It was a beautiful location and the pub itself served delicious food. Bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was clean and they even provided little soaps and toiletries. Kitchen well equipped.

The property had everything you needed. The only thing my partner and I suggested would be maybe put a diffuser or plug in freshener for the room as it did smell like damp dog.

    Beautiful setting.
