There was no air conditioning in the rooms. The information given on the site should specifically state that there is none. Some rooms were just too tiny for us and our luggage. There are 6-10 steps before reaching the lift or reception.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The location so near Kensington gardens was great. There was a bathtub in the bathroom.

The room was too small and really too warm to the point where we didn't get a great night's sleep as it was too stuffy. We needed to have the window open all night and the weather wasn't that warm or sunny while we were there. There was a fan available to use in the wardrobe, so we could have used it but there really wasn't any space to put it as our belongings used the available surfaces and floor space, as well as not wanting to sleep with a draught. The room also needs more lighting options as the main light was really bright and the one lamp was really dim. We had breakfast on the first morning but decided to buy it elsewhere on the second as we didn't especially enjoy it and the room was a basement space without windows and the atmosphere felt odd. The scrambled eggs looked sloppy and unappealing. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again mainly based on the room size and temperature.

Room a bit too small and bathroom a bit outdated - shower supplies not good quality

Very good location and very convenient, we were in a room with high ceiling, and the bed was very comfortable, it’s a very good deal for the price, wifi worked very well and the terrasse it’s really nice.

The toilet roll holder was in a ridiculous location behind the toilet in my room GU11. It could not be reached. The plug in the sink did not seal properly as there was no sealant round the plughole. I was told not to turn up the toaster in the dining room as this could create smoke which would make the fire alarms go off!! Why don't they install a smoke hood or, better still, a smoke extractor over where the toasters are located so that guests don't have to wait forever to get their bread toasted? I have added photos below.

The room was very comfortable and roomy as the hotel uprated me. The reception staff are all very friendly and greet you each time you pass the reception desk.

Breakfast was a bit limited in choice so we chose to go out of the hotel instead. The room was well used but everything was in working condition and as expected.

The staff were friendly and helpful with any requests you could have. They always greeted us on arrival with a smile! The room was clean and we had plenty of fresh towels, water, tea etc. It was also bigger than expected (by London standards) and had everything we needed. Nice garden/ terrace area if it's warm and location couldn't be better.

The cleaning ladies from the 3rd floor, deserve congratulations for their dedication and diligence with which they deliver their service. Also the guys at the reception were extremely polite and helpful!:-)

Our room was in the bottom floor and there was a stench that stayed. We had to open the windows to air the place out often.

Like the location. It's convenient and pretty central. A lot of hotels in London can be overpriced but I often come back to this one because it's affordable.

While the staff were very accommodating to me, the first room, they showed me required that I climb up and down, steep stairs to get to the bathroom. I think that is something they should’ve checked out with me before hand. I could not handle those stairs. The second room had a window right onto the lovely courtyard, which is mostly used for smoking since the building is non-smoking. Even though there were bars on the windows as a single woman that was not a good place. the third room room, although it had some stairs, was lovely.

Staff we’re outstanding. Friendly and very helpful whenever I need it. The breakfast was delicious and substantial, and more than worth the price. The place is well situated between several tube stations and lines.

The room is really small and there is nothing inside (I'm a drama queen). The bathroom is reallyyyyy small. When I was showering, I was always touching bath walls. I hate that

Our room was downstairs and just outside the lobby- we had to endure noisy conversations past midnight one evening. Breakfast looked ample and was well presented but the eggs were runny and the sausage was mushy- everything else was good. Room was small but expected since it was London.

We were welcomed warmly and our room was clean. Appreciated the kettle and good response when we asked for extra towels.
