No real complaints..

For what I needed it was fine, a clean room and a comfy bed, just one night while working in the area...

The room was basic the cups was dirty and there was a kettle holder but no kettle the walls showed signs of damp. The tea/coffee station hadn’t been topped up.

The staff was lovely and so was the locals the pub was really nice too.

My room was right above the pub entrance where all the smokers congregated so after a long day travelling wanted an early night but unfortunately as I had to have the window open as was too hot, it was quite noisy until the pub shut. Lack of plug sockets in the room was disappointing, I had to unplug kettle to charge laptop/phones as that was literally the only socket in the room. Also No socket near mirror to use my straighteners so couldn't do my hair or use the desk to work.

Room was a good size, comfy bed and nice big shower.

Loud music from bar below until 10 / 10:30pm prevented you from getting off to sleep early or to relax and watch TV in your room properly. Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss.

Saturday night was noisy outside between 1 and 2 am That being said, we knew that before we booked, having read the reviews .

I hoped that I could get a hot meal in the evening but I couldn't. The radiators had a mind of their own and I felt a little chilly.

The room was adequate but with a little extra financial outlay the presentation of the room could have promoted the "feel good" factor. Specifically; a towel rail in the bathroom, a non-slip surface on the shower tray, a grab rail in the shower cubicle, a shelf in which to place soap/shampoo etc. A hook on the bathroom door was a glaring omission. I found that a lack of space to put things was frustrating. The design of the room was practical but a light in the entrance would have been helpful and a few extra hangers in the wardrobe area would not have come amiss. In the main these criticisms are minor and some may regard them as irrelevant.

These are my opinions. The staff of the Pelham were very receptive and helpful; they complied with all of my requests and went out of their way to be helpful. The proprietor was especially attentive to detail. The purpose of our visit was to see a relative that we had not seen for many years. Immingham is a pleasant town with some nice walks from the hotel. The locals are very friendly and make one feel at home from the word go. All in all, Immingham exceded my expectations.

The loud music Friday and Saturday night left us no option than to join in and party. Slept like a log woke up in the fireplace. Great nights.

If you want basic essentials it's perfect, lovely beer , lovely breakfast, lovely people.

All a bit dated and unloved, but clean and serviceable. A bit of a disturbance in the car park late at night resulted in a bit of damage to my car.
