United KingdomThe host was awful to speak to. As soon as we arrived, the information that was sent to us was incorrect including the pin to get in. I actually felt like I was doing something wrong when speaking to the host. She was so abrupt and the way she talked to you was disgusting.The second time she sent information over, again was incorrect and was the incorrect room and floor. Her response again was atrocious. The building itself is incomplete that when you take the long stairs, there is faeces on the wall, bones on the floor and dirty tissue papers. Parking was not made transparent and we paid for parking for two people for 5 days at £4.50. The information said that the lift worked and it didn't and thankfully we weren't on the 7th floor which was incorrect in the first email. The fire alarm was continuously going off from morning to night and when I contacted the host, her response was sarcastic. She said she would send over ear pods to drown out the noise but we got nothing. We did not sleep very well the whole time we were there. Not only was the fire alarm going off 24/7 but the continuous outside noise of cars revving back and forth kept us up all night. The windows were awful! So difficult to open when it got stuffy and it felt like we were trapped, as they were awful to open. The bed is a small double bed, not for two people and it was truly uncomfortable to sleep on. Bad internet! it caused problems with work. The apartment itself was ok but we did not realize it was in Little Germany, which is the roughest part of Bradford. Every day we were greeted by unsavory characters outside of the apartment. My car was keyed and we found a half-eaten dead bird thrown near our car. This was meant to be a relaxing getaway, but there was nothing relaxing about it. I'd say out of the whole experience, it was the host that made it the worst experience for me. There is nothing like bad customer service to put you off for life from ever going back.
