Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThis is a minor moan as I was aware that breakfast was not included, however the adjoining pub/restaurant did but unfortunately their breakfast did not start until I believe 0900, this for the work traveller is to late. Maybe a word with the restaurant to see if it can start breakfast at 0630/0700 as it may be advantageous to both them and you.
For the money an absolute bargain. Clean well equipped room, fridge and microwave was an unexpected bonus.

A lovely traditional small hotel next door to a pub that has a delicious cavery. Staff were friendly and the room was clean.

United KingdomI shared a twin room with my sister. The room was very spacious with excellent facilities including a proper fridge (not merely a chiller as in a lot of hotels), a microwave, cutlery and crockery a well as the usual ironing board. The bathroom was large with an excellent shower. We dined at the adjacent restaurant but were also given on arrival a lengthy list of local take aways. The car park appeared very safe and we parked very near to our room. Highly recommend.

United KingdomThe walls were quite thin and I heard a lot of noise from the corridor when people walked past. A bottle of water in the fridge could have been a nice touch. Also, there was no option of switching on JUST the bedside lamp, the switch turned on all of the lights. Travelling alone I wanted to have a small lamp on overnight but this wasn’t possible without the whole room being lit up.
Hotel was clean and had everything you could need - fridge, microwave, ironing board, hairdryer, even a heated towel rail. The man on reception was really friendly and was able to have a joke with him which was nice rather than everything being really serious. Great location if you have something on at the hospital, and in close proximity to a pub. Nice view of the waterside also.

I find the hotel to be very cosy and comfortable. The staff are always pleasant and always accommodating. Great location.
