The digital key could be better. May have the option to add to Apple wallet rather going through the app. Found it a bit of a pain when using the lifts to the room.

Online check in and out was simple and straightforward. Room was lovely and bed very comfy.

There was a fire drill at 7:30 on bank holiday Monday. We know this cannot be helped but staff were useless. The fire exit stair way was clogged up and not moving. A staff member was pushing through everyone and not even telling us what was going on. We got outside after 25 minutes and pretty much all staff were safely outside! We were trying to call reception to see if this was a drill but they were already outside. Just a joke and really needs to be looked at, or this would be very dangerous had it been a real fire.

It was in a good location.

Expensive, to say not enough towels or complimentary bathroom products for a family of four, also poor quality complimentary teas and coffee. Things just generally did not match the price

Just one thing happened during our stay which about fire alarm and internal announcement to evacuate the building immediately, we all moved in the same time to the stairs but unfortunately we stacked at the stairs without moving due to very bad evacuation plan/facilities and it was a very risky situation and so dangerous than to stay in our rooms.

Room wasn’t as clean as it could have been. We chose to only have it cleaned once during our stay however think all they did was change towels. There were crumbs on floor that didn’t get vacuumed and washing of dishes was pretty average

I rang twice and was told twice they have disabled parking spots. It turns out they don’t and I was charged £65 to park my own car, which I had to squeeze in between tight spots on the pavement. No consideration towards people with needs and weren’t informed of the charges until parked up and didn’t have a choice

    Location.

The maids told us they were too busy to clean our room in a timely manner (it was 3 pm!) because they were so many VIPs they had to get to first. And getting bottles of water was like pulling teeth! We even offered to pay for them, but apparently since we’d gotten two free bottles of water at check-in (they made a huge deal about that, too, like we should be so grateful) it was problematic. These two incidences left a bad taste.

The breakfast was really not to our taste- but I suppose that may be individual. However we felt disappointed, especially for this money and especially given that it is a chain and we had been to other Hotels of the same type and had much better experiences. Also the fact that u had to prebook a 30min slot for the pool (although it was basically empty the whole day) was ridiculous.

    The location was wonderful.

The location was fabulous, hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful. 35 pounds for three course meal which tasted lovely was so reasonable. Has a super swimming pool and spa facilities. Booked up to go again next year but for a longer stay. The hotel even gave me a bottle of wine as it was my 70th birthday

The breakfast is expensive and not worth the money and the time!!! Go and eat something outside in one of the nearby restaurants! The pool has to be booked in advance and is only for an hour!!!

The location is perfect, the room is large , we actually had a separate room for the children.

The rooms are very dark so not great for working.

Location is great and the staff were very kind this time because it was less busy I believe. When the hotel is crowded is tends to be a bit stressful.
