Our 'deluxe room' turned out to be a suite with bedroom, bathroom and lounge with smart TV. Amazing! The breakfast was superb, excellent quality, so we did not need lunch. Great communication with our host and flexible check-in arrangements. Great location with easy walk into town.

Tina, the host, was welcoming and made sure that our stay in Park House was wonderful. The house itself is a lovely property with lots of character and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was very good and set us up for the days of sightseeing.

The accommodation was faultless.

We are used to a super king sized bed at home and this was a little too small for us but it was still very comfortable. Lovely pillows and duvet.

Beautiful Victorian villa. We had the whole top floor and it was lovely fresh and clean. Easy walk into town. Breakfast freshly made and very nice. Definitely recommend.

What didn't we like: We had to come home!

What did you like: Hard to say other than it was like a home from home. Tina was so friendly, if we did need anything, we asked and she sorted it. Her home made granola is quite simply the best and the breakfast provided hit 11 on the yummy scale. Everything was spotless and the little touches like choccies and biscuits were an added bonus. We were made to feel very welcome, as if we were friends rather than paying guests. Even the rain stayed away!

The property was very clean. We had the top floor suite with a lounge area and large bathroom. It was immaculately clean and in a quiet location. The breakfast was good especially the homemade granola and the smoked salmon & poached eggs. Large private parking area plus outside seating for a hot day. Host Tina was exceptional even posting on item we left behind at her own cost. Definitely will stay again when in this area Devon

Now, this is just splitting hairs, as I would return here in a heartbeat (heck, I wish I could stay forever!); but it might be the most important bit for you: the bed is on the soft side and might be a tad too short for taller-than-average people.

Tina is a force of nature: absolutely amazing! She opened her home to us and made our holiday *perfect*. I have seen my fair share of CLEAN places, but this one was an entirely new level of cleanliness--and the breakfasts were the cherry on top. (Some days, literally.) I'm afraid she has ruined all our future holidays though: the bar is set so high now that most likely it cannot ever be reached again.
