Myself and partner really enjoyed our little weekend (2nights) get away for the first time in 2 years! calming environment and everyone is warm and welcoming! We really loved staying here, wasn’t ready to come home today!

It was a bit cold at times, but there's nothing we can do about the weather.

Me and my family had a fantastic stay. Sean and his wife went out of their way to make sure our stay was as good. They were there to meet us and when we left. I couldn't ask for more.

The only fault is it's a bit of hike at my age from car park but these are my personal problems all in all excellent location and so peacefully pleasure to stay will highly recommend thank yourself

Unfortunately we were unable to use the hot tub as the times were booked up before we arrived that fitted around our already set plans.

Beautiful little heated pods surrounding a lake full of wildlife. Kitchen and toilets clean. Good facilities. Very relaxing perfect for couples or families

The shower floor was soaking in the ladies throughout our stay I used the gents toilets instead in the morning. The route to the toilets was very muddy I shouldn't have worn my crocs on the night!

Curtains to cover the main door were small and see through so privacy from other pods was restricted

Shower leaked under the seal and waterlogged the cabin. Beds are a little on the hard side and the pillows were too soft and gave me a bad neck

Absolutely beautiful location and Lou one of the owners we dealt with was lovely. Hot tub was a really nice touch.

Loved everything!!

What an incredible location. The facilities are second to none. Lovely touch with luggage trolley, as you have to leave the car on the car park. Loved the little touch of tea, sugar, salt and pepper in the kitchen hut.

A shame one of the ladies showers was broken as it made showering a bit more difficult. The shower block floor became quite dirty very quickly and could have done with a mop left in there for people to wiz’s round themselves.

Our second visit to parc maerdy this year,this time as a family of 3. Good location,lovely view of the lake. Pods spotless and comfortable.Our 11 year old thought it was brilliant and wants to go again soon! 😊

Absolutely nothing everything is perfect

Everything. We have stayed in the family en-suite pod 3 times and a tipi once. The pods are very comfortable and clean. We love our little days away here, it’s so peaceful, friendly and relaxing. It’s such a beautiful little place, as a family we love it here.

After looking at the pictures of the site, it was a lot more over grown than in the pictures. Although still nice it would have been nice to see more of the lake from our pod.

The pods were lovely and clean in a good area. Lou was very helpful. The kitchen pod was clean and useful for drinking water. Although bbq and fire pits were small they were easy to use and just enough. Good location with a lovely pub just up the road. Also the Londis is like a small supermarket. The bed was comfortable and although the pods are basic they are really lovely.

The paths became a bit muddy. That is the only thing I can think of because everything else was so good!

Some sort of socket where to charge up the phone would be a nice addition. Better lighting at the tents and some sort of a door matt right at the entrance of the inner tent (ours was muddy and we feared to bring the mud inside the tent)

I liked the laid back and hassle free check in (over the phone) unfortunately couldn’t use much of the amenities as arrived late and left early. Thanks for hosting and best wishes

It was a perfect location and the pubs nearby were fantastic only thing is you need to book the table way in advance which I almost did forget everytime but that meant driving to explore nearby villages. Can't fault the place.

Friendly host nothing was too much to ask. Initially booked a tent by mistake but were able to change my booking and were very understanding. The outside hot tub was best experience ever! We loved it in the evenings.

The fact that my grandmother is 15 years old and the bunk beds was for more younger children i.e no more than the age of 10 years of age .
