My daughter did not have hot water her first night. My pod had a smell of cats but that went away when I opened the windows.

Would've been nice to have hotter water in the shower. The temperature was lukewarm at best, and I personally like a hot shower, but my wife said it was okay for her after somebody came out to look at it. A few other things that would've improved the stay; a door matt for muddy or sandy shoes, a shower matt for the bathroom, and maybe an extra hook for hanging clothes, along with a shelf in the main room. Those few tweaks would really make it an exceptional experience.

We really enjoyed our stay in these glamping cabins, and thought they provided both an excellent base for day trips and outstanding value for money. Everything we wanted to see and do was about a 15-30 minute drive. We didn't spend a huge amount of time on-site, but if you wanted to, it's a very pleasant setting with decent amenities. The check-in process was also very easy, and the other guests all seemed friendly and respectful.

It is not necessarily what I didn’t like but something that may be considered, it would be good to have there like a unit with shelves so you could put some things on it. Nothing fancy just basic unit with shelves.

The area is stunning, very peaceful. It was lovely to have a morning coffee by the pond. The cabin was very clean. We did enjoy every second of it and definitely will be back at some point.

More equipment in the kitchen would of been helpful for us.

Beautiful area so pretty and full of nature. Pod was new and cosy. Kids loved the freedom of the site. Was a great stay. Pods are close together so not very private or if neighbours are noisy. Family pod was great just trees in front of us blocked view of lake which was a shame. Peaceful stay and enjoyed.

Only very tiny things but it would have been nice to have a door mat inside the pod to wipe our feet on the way in from rain. Also a shower mat outside the shower. The bathroom bin wasn't emptied, we found someone elses rubbish just under our bed and our fire pit was full of cigarettes so unsure how thoroughly the cleaning gets done.

Our second time staying here. We love the location. Easy access for Newquay etc. We have stayed in the family ensuite pod twice now which has been great. Loved the hot tub this time as we missed our previously and our fire.

The curtains from the pods don't block enough light.

The place where the pods are installed is really wonderful. It is in the middle of nature. There is a lot of wonderful birds. The pods are real comfortable.

There could be more hooks on the walls as there is not much space to store the things on the floor.

The place was amazing, calm, set in nature. The pod is tiny but cute. There is possibility to prepare simple food. Bathroom is small but you have all you need.

The only thing I’d say was different compared to our previous visits there were no matts inside the pod to wipe our feet, outside one was very tatty and falling apart, and no dustpan and brush to keep the pod floor clean. Last time there was a small table and a chair inside of the pod

This is our 3rd time at Parc Maerdy we absolutely love the place. We’ve visited at 3 different times, 1st in August 2nd in September it’s our first in spring and considering it’s been a very wet spring the site was well maintained. Lou and Sean were very helpful and answered the phone when we needed help. I love the fact this year bedding was provided and lovely bedding and pillows they were.!! The pond has matured compared to our last visit (2022) and there were geese and a family of Dusky Moorhens with 4 chicks which we had the pleasure of mum and dad coming up to us for food. We book the family unsuite pod and it’s perfect for us. The morning of our departure I booked again for 2 night stay in September 🫶🏻
