Flooded shower -drain does not work properly Uncomfortable Mattress Noise from the street, rooms and stairs

There was a mousetrap in my room and the toilet seat was dirty on the inside. They just cleaned the part where you sit, but if you are a man and lift the sit you could see lots of dirt. The colour was red-ish blood like. Really disappointing.

The guy at the reception didn't say hi neither welcome. He didn't say anything. The curtains in the room didn't cover the whole windows, which means the sun won't let you sleep

The accomodation provides the bare minimum, not a single touch of decoration or extra furniture. Although it was generally clean, the place felt like it needed freshend up: the carpet was stained, small holes in sheet, etc. I had a basement window which opened on the street and was quite noisy.

The property is ideally located in Kensington. Check in process is smooth, just needed to grab a key from the key box. The amenities were very basic but the essentials were there: linen, kettle, tea and coffee.

Incredibly, there was no wifi in the rooms, the TV didn't work, and there was only one central light - no side light - so impossible to read. The key arrangements to get into the room were complicated and only worked if you had a smartphone. There was nobody on reception as a matter of policy. There were two emergency numbers, neither of which were answered. I left a voicemail afterwards asking for the owner / manager to call me. Nobody ever did.

The room was clean, the bed OK, and the shower good. There was a helpful woman who tried to sort my TV. Location good

It was very clean and it’s only 8 mins away from subway but walls are so thick I could hear neighbours chatting and no kitchen to cook something

Grubby poorly maintained, small, noisy and over priced. I got very little rest. Could hear doors slamming. Couldn't wait to leave.

Problem with the lock system of the door that did not function properly. Luckily people at the reception desk were able to help unlock the door.

Really well located, small room but comfortable enough, it filled it's primary function of enabling us to sleep.

Value for money. No frills but good location.

Mould around the window. Taps in the bathroom were very stiff and wife was unable to turn the taps off. Fire alarm went off quite early in the morning and staff were unable to resolve the issue in a timely manner. No life and lots of stairs to carry heavy suitcases.

Location was good and only a few minutes walk to the tube. Tea and coffee in the room.

My room #401 was extremely small filled with mold and strange odor. The bathroom sink didn’t drain and the shower head was leaking. Aside from that, the bed was not comfortable at all and the mattress had stains on it. The walls were dirty, covered in splattered stains and the carpet needed proper cleaning as well. And you will see a pest trap behind your bed too. If you are OK with all of this, then go for it. I will not be staying here again.

The location was great and there were many nice restaurants and cafes in the heart of Notting Hill.

The property was at a slant due to being quite old and outdated, didn’t put a damper on the experience though as other than decor was lovely!

Gave us more beds than we asked, plenty of towels and soaps etc! Had a balcony which overlooked a gorgeous park and was a really stunning area! so upper class.

They would not let me book in at a late hour and there was a train strike, so I could not get there by the ten o'clock cut off. Therefore I booked in to the Premier Inn at Paddington instead.

It was within walking distance of Paddington and reasonably priced.

The rooms could do with being updated & re painted. In saying that it was fairly clean. The shower was good & the beds were comfortable. The walls are very thin so you can hear movement from other rooms.

The location is good. There are shops & eateries in the area. The closest tube station is 10 minutes walk max.

Cleaning of the room could have been better! We missad furniture in the room - there were only a bed and a locker for hanging clothes. A few hooks on the wall, a shelf, a small table would have made life easier.
