Beautiful location, and lovely hosts that gave a very warm welcome. Spacious accommodation and lots of hot water when needed. The kitchen was well equipped and included all the essentials plus more. Cream tea on arrival was a nice touch and fresh milk in the fridge. Our granddaughter loved joining in to help with the sheep and lambs. We would not hesitate to return.

Owl's nest was the perfect home away from home. The accommodation was well appointed, clean, in a great location and the host was amazing. We were welcomed to the property with home baked cookies and fresh milk in the fridge which our host had prepared for us. This small thought meant the world to us and really set the tone for the rest of our stay. There was also a picture album showing the conversion of the old barn to the cottage and included historical information. My kids loved learning the hiatory and could not believe that we were staying in a cottage that was over 300 years old! Very cool.

The sofas were OK - not that comfortable to be completely honest. Would have been nice to have a spare loo roll in the cottage.

The host left provisions for us in the cottage - some freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream which were gratefully received. Also some milk, lovely fresh eggs, tea and coffee bags. Cottage was warm, plenty of hot water. Beds were comfortable. We would have liked a top sheet as well as duvet but know that's not really a thing in England. Duvet was very warm, but too chilly without it!
