The houses don't have street numbers in Scotland and on my phone, I made a decision to not get the international travel plan, only my wife had the plane. So you know what that meant, I had no internet. Let us just that was a poor decision, on my part. The Host even sent me longitude and latitude for the house, I just could access it. but not fear it all ended happily. I wont make that mistake again. We also know where the house is for the next time we visit.

The view over the loch from the sitting room window was ever-changing with the weather and just beautiful. The property was extremely well appointed, had everything you need and is really comfortable. A little bit of luxury. You can walk right out of the property onto the path along the loch or up into the woods. And the complimentary sweets and chocolates and biscuits - just amazing.

Fantastic location. The views are something else! Just stunning! Lovely lounge and kitchen area. Comfortable bed. The best roll top bath. Everything was immaculate! Well stocked kitchen, with tea coffee biscuits & chocolates!

The only negative I have, is that we didn't book to stay longer.

I loved absolutely everything about this property!! Within a day or 2 of booking the accommodation (Outlander) I received an email from Mairi providing us with amazing information about where to eat, grab a coffee or the best sightseeing places. It really really helped. The property is absolutely out of this world, it really is like a home from home. Mairi and Tony have thought of literally everything. The property was immaculate and had absolutely everything you could need and more. There were also little dishes of sweets/chocolates in every room which was an amazing touch. Mairi greeted us when we arrived and provided us with all the necessary information about the house, she was super friendly and so so thoughtful (i had mentioned we were there celebrating my husbands birthday and she kindly gifted us a bottle of prosecco). We had the most amazing stay and will definitely be back. The location is perfect!! Upon recommendation from Mairi we went to the Old Inn in Appin for our first evening meal and it was absolutely delicious. By far the best steak we have had and the Inn is simply stunning. Thank you so much Mairi and Tony, you will be seeing us again very soon.

Literally nothing.

The apartment felt like a home away from home. It is spacious, comfortable, at a great location for day trips or for just enjoying the views of the loch. Free parking, good wifi, plenty of personal touches that make you feel welcome, and lovely hosts. Comfy beds, shower, and a functional kitchen make this a place we'll definitely choose again when we return to the Glencoe area.

Everything was perfect

This was our second stay at the Outlander and it just as good as we remember. Mairi and Tony were so welcoming and took the time to chat to us about our stay and provide recommendations for restaurants and places to go. We would recommend this place to anyone as it is close to Glencoe and driving distance to Fort William and Oban.

This was by far the best accommodation that we had during our recent trip to the UK. From the friendly hosts, to the impeccably decorated apartment and beautiful views. The cleanliness was the best I have ever and the host's obviously take great pride in the space and you can certainly tell. There were such generous touches all throughout from a bowl of mints, chocolates, to the generous tea, coffee, short bread, biscuits and chocolates on offer. Very thoughtful and generous hosts and a space that feels luxurious. Would highly recommend!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The decor and furnishings were beautiful, as was the greeting we received from Mairi the hostess! The bed was extremely comfortable, linen beautiful and the chocolates left in every nook and room was a lovely touch. The kitchenette was ideal for simple self catering; ground level and easily accessible. Beautiful, peaceful setting with amazing views and a pretty Loch-side walking path right across the road.

I couldn't fault anything in this property. The property has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, extremely comfortable and very well deserving of a 5 star rating. Little touches from the hosts makes this a very special experience.

The property is located on the banks of Loch Linnhe, just outside Ballachulish so well positioned between Fort William and Oban for visiting the west coast, both north and south of location. The hosts are excellent and helpful and suggested lots of things to do and places to visit. The cycle track across the road is a great way to walk along the loch and to access the Holly Tree hotel (25 minutes) for a great meal.

The photo on website gave us the impression it was loch front but there is actually a moderately busy road in front and the swimming beach is a drive away. Lots of midgy's when sitting outside after 6pm.

very swanky decor and just loaded with chocolates in every room. Tasteful furnishings and a very well equipped kitchen although we didnt really cook in it. Bathroom was spectacular with a lovely deep bathtub. Brilliant hostess.

The only thing to say was it was very hot at night (however it had been unusally hot all day). Maybe a fan would've helped slightly. Otherwise no other complaints.

Very comfortable. The owner was lovely and met us on arrival. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. Lots of treats dotted around which was great! Lovely patio with table and chairs. Big smart TV. Bathroom was very nice, large, 2 sinks and nice products in the shower. Everything was spotless.

The road is not far away and quite busy. But the insulation is very efficient and for outside eating, the terrace on the other side is perfect.
