We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomIt would be even better if guests were asked to give some indication in advance of what they would positively like for the breakfasts, rather than being presented with some slightly unexpected dishes out of the blue (even if these were meticulously prepared, as they were). On one occasion this did happen, but for a stay of several days some slightly simpler offerings might be welcomed, even by rather foodie guests such as us!
The room was extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated, and the bathroom excellently appointed. Breakfasts were very good, and imaginatively prepared each day, and it was very good to be able to have interesting conversations with Julia about the area, with a view to our possible relocation to West Sussex.

It shows Julia loves having her b&b, she is a welcoming and warm host. Her attention to detail is fabulous and her house beautiful and relaxed. Our room was gorgeous, very comfortable, we slept so well... and the huge shower was dreamy. Each day breakfast was different, very imaginative and delicious. The location was perfect and peaceful, with easy walking distance to all Chichester has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at number 19. Our host was really friendly and accommodating…we were made to feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and the beds are super comfortable. The property is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Chichester where there are numerous restaurants to choose from. We particularly enjoyed our breakfast at the property. I would not hesitate to stay at number 19 again.
