The room was not cleaned daily, the toilet was in a very tight space. Dinner was fairly costly

Our room was on roadside of hotel and became noisy from 5am.

Dining room and good food with wonderful outlook down the loch. Staff very friendly and helpful. I asked for porridge for breakfast which was not on menu but it was kindly made for me.

The restaurant was a bit slow and we had over an hour weight for food (but it was nice when it arrived) The Prosecco was expensive. The property was a bit dated and could do with some TLC.

The locations was great, being lochside made for a beautiful stay. The food and restaurant was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room was small and very tired. Over priced for the room we were allocated. Bottom of window double glazing blown. Shower did not drain well and was smelly. Bathroom sink did not drain well. Toilet looked like it was leaking at the back. Room was not refreshed during our stay. The tables in the restaurant were too close together and all facing the same direction. No privacy in conversations and you constantly looked at someone looking at you. Website says bar open from 3pm, still closed at 5pm, no option to get a soft drink even.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was very good (but a bit expensive) Breakfast was very good which was included in the price. Within easy reach of Ben Nevis. Lovely views from the hotel of Loch. Provided packed breakfast for early start.

When you walk in the door you should be greeted with a smile, if they are busy, they should acknowledge you and say I won't be long. You shouldn't have to drag all you bags in and then present yourself and announce who you are. The senior management then said there is no lift you are on the first floor. So more bag dragging without any offer to help. Our toilet seat was broken. Someone with long black hair must have cleaned the room. there were heaps in the bathroom. neither of us have long black hair. Also, there were no teaspoons to make our tea or coffee. It's the little things that make you come back. Attention to detail goes a long way. We didn't complain because we had a really nice view and didn't want to be moved to another room. We did mention it the next day so I hope they fixed it for the next guests.

Breakfast was great with a lovely outlook. The main meal was really nice, we were attended to by lovely staff. The location was beautiful, and the view was very pretty. There was one staff member in particular who was very helpful in the evening at dinner, in the morning at breakfast he also checked us out and was just a pleasure to deal with. I think his name was Kumah. It is a shame he didn't check us in too.

We paid £189 for 1 night, by the pictures on booking.com this place looked amazing, but unfortunately it was very dated. Everytime I moved in bed it squeaked

It was a pit stop for us, heading to isle of skye. The food at the restaurant was lovely it was a tapas night.

If breakfast was included in the price

I thought breakfast was included in the £235 a night stay but was told on arrival it would be £13 per person extra. Staff were lovely, dinner and drinks very pricey.

A property meant for hikers and activity seekers. The rooms are basic but warm and a comfortable place to return to after a wet day out. The bathroom floors were questionably sticky but it could be the linoleum flooring. All in all not a bad stay but I wouldn't say luxury. The front desk staff were friendly and all business. For a night or two the price was right.

The beach pod's wasn't cleaned well: lot's of spider webs, dusty floor, hairs everywhere, spots on the couch and mold in the shower. No way to let dishes dry after washing. Some noise from the nearby road.

Nice views from the beach pods. Location is great.

Wifi never worked. TV reception was also spotty, would randomly go out at times. Seems like the wifi signal is not strong enough to reach the pods. Restaurant and bar have an incredible view on the terrace. Food was good but slightly overpriced, but not many options in the area especially at night.

We stayed in the pods and they seem to be on the newer side which was nice. The view is absolutely incredible. The pictures don’t even do it justice, it’s even nicer in person. That is really the main reason to stay here, to be beachside of an incredible loch.

Outside of the dining area the facility was a bit beat up. Our room view was overlooking the roof of the office and roadway. This was after having booked about 5 months ago on Booking.com. It seems to be a pattern that we get some of the least desirable rooms through the app.

Dining area and views from deck were very nice. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.

Breakfast only started at 8am. This was rather late for us and some others who were on a roadtrip and needed to get on the road quite early. The gentleman who check us in was non-verbal. But the restaurant staff and bartender were really nice. The room we booked was supposed to have a view of the loch, but ours was obscured a bit which wasn’t great when we wanted to wake up to the beautiful loch view.

    Location was good
