For an elderly person, getting in and out of the bath could be a challenge.

The room was tasteful, spacious and comfortable. We were given the room we requested, having been to this hotel before. Location is convenient near the Pantiles and smart shopping street.

Breakfast good...but no staff evident on arrival. Pastries not fresh. Staff difficult to find and we felt ignored when seeking a bar drink on Sunday, meaning we went elsewhere for drinks/food.

Very welcoming staff on arrival. Room & hotel areas really modern decor, well maintained. Quiet bedroom, very comfortable, ideal location for Pantiles, High Street and Station. Attentive breakfast service.

Room size is fine but the furniture is too big for the room. It's difficult to walk around . A tiny desk is placed tightly outside the bathroom. The bathroom let out an odor probably from the old pipes.

The first room we were assigned to had frosted windows, making the room gloomy, especially on a cloudy day. However the staff worked quickly to find us another room. Those considering booking at this hotel should first enquire whether the room has frosted windows.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at reception. Very clean and comfortable room. The location was great - just around the corner from The Pantiles and walking distance to the train station (though note it's uphill).

Excellent central location although parking can be an issue. The hotel arranged parking for £12 per day for me, so I advise that you contact the hotel about parking as soon as you have booked, The staff are amazing, especially Mary Ann. Rooms are bright and clean, bed is so comfy.

Nothing to do with the hotel, so just saying as you ask but I could not get a taxi service which was working, though I tried all the numbers. I needed a taxi at the end of our stay but just could not get one. This made my last day quite stressful but again, not fault of hotel.

Great staff. Everything needed was there at breakfast. I was accompanying my son on a school trip so for me it was a working holiday.The hotel made this pleasant for me though.

We went to the bar for some soft drinks and bar snacks about half an hour before close as we arrived late to the hotel. It felt like the staff were not too happy about having to serve so late; that being said, we were served and the snacks were good.

Hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. Staff at check in were friendly and attentive. Location is very close to the centre of town which makes it easy to take a stroll in.

The hotel is lovely however, two separate people said that the rooms are too small. I looked closely at the rooms and they are a good size. The problem is there is far too much furniture. In order to find the hairdryer or use the wardrobe you must first remove a chair.To sit at the desk you must move a chair and the seat from underneath the desk. It’s a very smart hotel and clearly well managed, so I’m hoping that the manager will go into the room and realise why the rooms are perceived as being so small.

Lovely hotel, just a little tricky to find. We will return to this hotel and stay a little longer.
