Nothing not to like about the property

Such a peaceful area with such nice views, small town down the road with food shops close by. Yet it being so close to donington track was an ideal location when doing a track day

The towel heater in the bathroom was not enough to make it warm, the electric heater in the bedroom and living room were making it warm in the other rooms though. I was traveling in March and it was 5°C outside.

The converted barn was very cozy, they made it really beautiful! They even prepared some toast so I can eat when I arrive, what was very nice.

Great facilities and very comfortable and clean and all in a lovely setting. Near to a decent local pub and some great walks in the area. Ca be noisy at night with planes form East Mids Airport but fine with earplugs provided, and that way I couldn't hear the wife snoring either!

Not that they can do anything about it but the large DHL planes are noisy when they take off from East Midlands airport. They didn’t wake me up though during the night and to the properties credit, there are ear plugs in the bathroom cabinet.

Everything was great, the location, the setting, the property is immaculate throughout and it made for a very comfortable stay.

Be aware that it is positioned under the flight path of East Midlands airport so there is aircraft noise.

I really enjoyed my stay in the converted barn. It was well equipped, very comfortable and immaculately clean. It's perfectly placed for the race track or the airport and set in lovely green countryside.

A very comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings. Close to the quaint village of Melbourne where there are takeaways, restaurants and a Sainsbury’s as well as interesting places to visit. We were attending an event at Donington Park and it couldn’t have been more convenient… just 3 mins by car! The hosts are lovely.

As the barn is located very close to the airport the noise from aeroplanes taking off was very noticeable, however this could be helped with the use of earplugs which were supplied by the host.

The barn was exceptionally clean and contained everything that you could think of for a self catering holiday. Very close to Donington Park which was the reason we stayed.

As it is fairly close to the airport, some aircraft noise, but not too intrusive and not constant.

the only thing was the noise from Donnington Park, but this was only in the daytime. It didn’t ruin the stay at all and wouldn’t be a deciding factor in choosing to stay here again.

it was very clean, and homely, the little things were considered. fresh eggs and breakfast foods that were provided were a lovely touch. i would definitely consider staying there again.

The bedding was a bit 'busy' for my liking but didn't detract at all from my stay.

The property was absolutely spotless when I got there and a few lovely extra touches. The freshly laid eggs were favourite. It's set in in lovely open grounds very close to the Donington Park racing circuit. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay

You could want for nothing. Warm welcome. Well equipped kitchen. Attention to detail was fabulous. I mentioned I had allergies and my welcome basket reflected that. Location was perfect for work (East Midlands Airport).

It was beautiful. Very clean. Comfortable. Very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Lots of little extras which were a nice touch. Great field at the back of the barn for the dogs.
