It was perfect for a single guest but with sloping ceilings it may be tricky for more people or anyone tall.

Noel and Lorna were excellent hosts the apartment was fantastic, situated in a lovely village with a great pub, beautiful countryside. Noel and Lorna went above and beyond helping us with our travel arrangements , would recommend to anyone.

Excellent hosts, so welcoming and friendly even when o couldn’t be precise about an arrival time. The property is very well situated, the gardens are beautiful and lovely to see the dogs frolicking. Oakwrights is impeccably clean and equipped to a very high standard, extensive tea and coffee making facilities and an option to order delicious looking breakfast baskets. The bed is very comfortable, sheets good quality and plenty of towels. And the homemade chocolate cake was a very welcome discovery! A gem of a place.

Loved being there from start to finish.

The exceptional warm welcome by Lorna and Noel made our start to our stay for 3 nights to a great start. Good facilities was provided in the apartment, from toiletries, expresso machine, microwave, oven and kettle. The subtle touches to make the apartment feel homely was touching. Clean cosy feel of the apartment. The bed was so comfortable and slept very well in peaceful surroundings. A great welcome after a long journey to homemade carrot cake 😀

Double bed difficult for 2 people (my husband came 1 night) as person in the inside cannot get out without going over person on the outside of the bed. The TV was a bit old and not smart, with DVDs. So a bit limiting if you are staying for more than a night, as I was, and weather poor.. Whilst there was plenty of room to park, as it is right onto the road and the gates need opening and shutting to enter and exit, it was a bit hazardous.

Lovely, clean, bright place with good self catering facilities. Great for 1 person. Owners very friendly and helpful and provided lovely cake and a breakfast hamper (at a reasonable additional cost). Wonderful views and in a lovely village.

Location is stunning. Great value for money. Lorna & Noel were amazing hosts. Great communication and Lorna even went out of her way to make us vegan flapjacks - those alone would give this place a 10/10! The facilities were amazing, we cooked a lot! It’s so quiet and comfortable too. Would absolutely stay there again. Thank you!
