You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Oak Lodge was immaculate. Very clean, great location (about 15 mins walk into Cromer town centre) every need was catered for. Welcome pack was a very nice touch. No faults as far as we were concerned and would thoroughly recommend.

United KingdomA little smaller than expected, but very cleverly arranged. Nothing I really disliked about the property, but the agents could have been better about supplying information in advance. For instance I asked them about 3 times which floor the property was on, and eventually had to call them to find out it was on the first floor, accessed by stairs from the ground floor. Also they said there was no hairdryer, so advised me to take one, which I did, to find out there were actually two there already (one in each bedroom)!
Very artistically decorated, clean and with good quality fittings, interesting and well located. Comfortable beds.

United KingdomOk a few niggly things. 1. The stairs up to the flat are narrow and steep, wouldn’t suit an elderly or infirm person. 2. The window in the bedroom was very draughty, especially as the headboard was right under it (was blowing a gale the whole time we were there) 3 The bathroom was a bit far away from the bedroom down a couple of stairs. (not good if like me you need the loo in the middle of the night!) because of this I would’ve awarded 5 stars, but still an enjoyable stay
It was in a quiet lane off the main road, lovely sea views. The apartment was well equipped 2 tvs one with Netflix. Also good selection of DVD’s. It was clean nice and brightly furnished and the welcome treats were a bonus. Easy stroll into Cromer and bus stops outside on main road to Sheringham and Wells, didn’t drive all week, car stayed at the apartment. We have bus passes so didn’t cost anything to travel, plus parking charges are horrendous. Nice stay would recommend

United KingdomJust one minor thing, would have been A1 if a pint of milk was waiting in fridge for a cuppa on arrival. Is close to main road so some traffic noise, but minor issue for us, mentioned as may not be for others.
On arrival, had biscuits and bottle of juice waiting. View from property was great. 29 minute walk into Cromer, so close. Beaches close walk. Bus stop right outside. Shops near for basics.

Really lovely apartment, equipped with everything we needed. The cot and highchair were very helpful. Great location for exploring the area - could walk to the beach in East Runton and along to Cromer. There are steps up into the apartment but we did not find this an issue at all, and there's plenty of space to leave shoes/coats and beach stuff at the bottom of the stairs. Ooh and it was so lovely to have the view of the sea from the living room windows, especially with the binoculars provided!

New Zealandour own fault, but the caravans everywhere were a put-off from staying again, also parking down a dark lane, no lights, potholes - child fell over and hurt hands/knees. went to first aid box in flat kitchen and the plasters in there had mould. luckily managed to find some plasters in our car (had to walk down the dark lane again to get them). also clearly heard neighbour in flat below having a wee! very thin walls evidently!
comfy beds and clean linen, good towels. Practical kitchen and good shower. Warm and cosy flat.
