Everything was really good except for a night staff member on sat night our key pass would not work for lift a guest let us up only for it to not work in the room I left my husband upstairs went give floors back down to reception only for the gentleman to keep setting me up for room 521 repeating I was in 531 and he kept telling me I was in 521 over and over I gave my details he said one night I was booked in for two nights we had a lovely day out and just wanted to go to bed x my husband was sitting on the floor tired when I finally got back upstairs. I just found it hard as to why he could not just fix the problem with our key for our room 531 I found myself a bit down going back up as he made me feel really stupid and could not understand why he wouldn’t except my word that all my belonging were in 531 he just kept insisting I was wrong left me baffled and both of us tired

Everything it had everything was clean needed more milk and sugar but apart from that room was ideal facilities were brilliant top hotel would stay again

Of course! Here's an updated review for Novotel Hotel: --- We had a lovely stay at the Novotel Hotel. The pool and gym facilities were fantastic, providing a great way to relax and stay active during our visit. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. However, despite booking an executive suite, the room felt quite small, and the layout with the shower and toilet being separate was a bit uncomfortable. Despite this, our stay was very enjoyable, and we would highly recommend the Novotel Hotel for its excellent amenities and welcoming staff.

Although on this occasion one of our rooms didn’t get cleaned in the morning. I also mentioned to the cleaner that our fridge was working as we have medication in it which has to be cold. But nothing got done about it.

Location. Staff always very friendly and helpful. We visit twice a year and introduced our other family to your hotel and they come with us too now. Hotel very clean.

The room was too hot at night even though the room thermostat was on * (frost) setting. From the roadside entrance it needs a clearer sign where Reception is located. I felt the cost of breakfast (think it was £14.50) was a bit high: £10 would be more reasonable for what was offered.

Room was very pleasant & quiet (even though it faced the main road). Breakfast was good, plenty of choice & quantity. Location (for the Crucible) was excellent

Breakfast in the morning no matter what time you went was not great because there was nothing left. Constantly asking for items because they had not been replenished.

Location was ideal for the Crucible. Right in the centre surrounded by restaurants and bars.

There was nothing exceptional about this hotel, the rooms were standard and the breakfast average so I do not understand why they charge so much, especially as the breakfast was extra.
