Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The Property is at very peaceful location wont say center but 3 mins walk to the tram station which makes so easy to reach Haymarket and Princes street in about 10 and 15 mins respectively or airport on the other side with almost same time to reach. On the other hand to reach main Waverley station, the train station is also next to the tram station. You have a mall right opposite to you. The staff is really amazing and so helpful and cheerful which makes your vacation more happier. Hotel is clean, breakfast was good, comfortable beds, very fast and easy checkin and checkout. Glad we did the booking for Novotel and surely gonna do it next time as well.

United KingdomThe shower leaked a bit, escaping from under the shower door and onto the tiled floor (a very minimal thing!), and breakfast seemed a tad overpriced.
We came to visit Edinburgh for the Taylor Swift concert. Not only was the hotel perfectly positioned to get us into central Edinburgh or to the airport regardless of crowds, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. There are local amenities, from take away places to supermarkets and coffee shops which made our morning before the hotel restful and relaxed.

United KingdomThe pool was very heavily chlorinated and really hurt our eyes and made my skin quiet sensitive. the pool change rooms were also small and not very clean but i think this was to do with the amount of people that were using them at that time
Staff were friendly and helpful, gave us all the correct information we needed room was clean and spacious dinner was yummy and lots of options for breakfast my son was so excited that the tram and train ran past the hotel and could see them in the restaurant but you couldn't hear them which was a bonus

United KingdomWe came to Edinburgh for the Taylor Swift concert and this hotel went out their way to make us Swifties feel super welcomed!!! The festivities were wonderful, from the red carpet, staff wearing TS outfits, the music, the decor, complimentary drinks, sweet table and to the TS bracelet making table! We were incredibly lucky to be given a room at 1pm when check in was only at 3pm. The staff were all so super friendly and the hotel facilities were in perfect working condition such as the heated pool and sauna/steam room. The location of the hotel is perfect to get to and from the stadium or to the city centre. Just a 2minute walk to the tram or a minute walk across the road to a KFC for those late night snacks. Our hotel room was very clean and they had some Taylor Swift souvenirs on our table! This hotel made such a wonderful effort and made the whole weekend even more special!!!

United KingdomIt was way over priced for the night £500 a night just because Taylor Swift was playing ay Murrayfield it was a good job there was 3 of us staying in the same room and shared the price.
This is my second stay at this hotel and it a great hotel with good parking and tram service the staff where all friendly and the rooms are a good size and very clean
