To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomSlightly strange location - business park area. No hotel car park so have to pay in NCP car park next door.
Good size room, fridge was very handy. Quick check in and check out. Next to Cambridge North station so very easy to get into the centre of Cambridge - less than 5 minutes on the train. No problems with staying with a dog - £15 extra per night.

I am not sure if a pet was in my bedroom before me but I had to sleep with a cold flannel over my eyes through the severity of the itching. There has to be a way of having rooms for pets and none pets like used to happen with smoking. It should be the same for all communal areas. The WiFi kept cutting out Could not connect Netflix

NetherlandsThe room was not as clean as I would have expected and the duvets were not very comfortable. The tv wasn't working when I first tried it but there is no phone to call reception to ask and the QR provided for information about the hotel did not work (it went to the room service/food page which it said was not accessible).
The hotel is very nicely designed, the pool/gym/sauna facilities were great and the breakfast was good. I also really like that there were Rituals products in the bathrooms. The location beside the trainstation was very convenient and I also appreciate the checkout time which is a bit later than some other places.
