Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomSlight musty smell on arrival, but we opened the windows, and it was gone within a small amount of time. Only 1 large towel in the bathroom and not another in the room, but let the staff know, and they couldn't have been more apologetic.
Lovely staff member who was very welcoming and explained everything needed and offered to book the table for our evening meal. The pub and bar staff were welcoming and helpful and the food was delicious, especially the carvery. The room was clean and spacious, and we were put towards the end of the corridor, which was a much quieter area, so that was nice too.

United KingdomRooms do not have aircon so could be uncomfortable when hot. There was an occasion when the housekeeper made up room forgot to replenish tea but this was sorted when I spoke to reception. Some staff in the pub side did not inform me that I receive discount on food when staying at hotel or found out afterwards that discount was not applied. Make sure you request this.
Breakfast staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable with all the facilities required.

This was as perfect as it gets, from ample parking, friendly reception, huge room with view, and restaurant / pub adjacent. The bed and bed linen were superb. The bonus was the location, more rural than I had expected; and on the riverside, as I had inferred from the title. Easy 5-mile drive to the cricket at Northampton.

The Quays is an excellent venue. Friendly and welcoming staff and a great manager. Comfortable and well equipped. Linked to a fine Greene King Pub/Restaurant. The bar was well run with excellent beers. The restaurant served good value Full English & Continental Breakfasts. Their Carvery meals offered a good choice of roast meats and vegetables. We will definitely return and will recommend to our friends.
