The sofa bed was not comfy to sleep on, hard metal bits digging into my back and legs all night

The location is perfect. The cabin is clean and cute, has everything needed for a pleasant stay and self-catering. Microwave present. A good bed, nice shower. Coffee and tea available. Much information on how to gain access and such is provided the day before arriving. Fast answers to any questions you may have. Christine is a great source of information!

We were 3 adults in the pod, our friend who slept on the sofa bed said it was extremely uncomfortable.

Compact pod but well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Located a short walk to a stunning little beach.

Alexa is a wonderful concept but is very hit and miss.Mostly miss from our experience.

Pods are well presented and make a small space very comfortable. Beautiful location .

Parking was a pain despite marked parking spots! Our car got damaged as our parking bay was smaller as was also where the bins were kept, and folk were daft with their parking. Both nights there were parking issues with different guests. The Alexa, whilst great, had saved light alarms and music alarms, and we didn't think to cancel any when we arrived, so woken up at 6.30pm by lights going on and music playing.

Lovely spot beside Achmelvich beach. Pods are well laid out and well appointed, with all mod cons you could think of. Really well managed with clear instructions. The bed was cosy and comfortable. Loved watching the sheep out the bathroom window.

The Wifi did not work even after restarting of the router and there is no mobile reception

Achmelvich beach is ruined in summer with motor boats and jet-skis. It is shocking that the local authority approves this on one of the best beaches for children and swimming in Scotland.

Great location to be able to walk to Achmelvich beach. Also close to the caravan park with a fish & chip shop.

Hard to get in touch with the staff as they did not respond on Booking when we had issues, and due to the cellular network not working out there we had no possibility to call them. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable as there was no mattress. It was also impossible to cook food without causing the fire alarm to sound several times (due to smoke from the oven). Moreover, it was strange that we weren’t allowed to use the kettle were it was placed as it was close to the roof, because the cable weren’t long enough to put it somewhere else. The shower had very hot water that couldn’t be adjusted to a more comfortable temperature.

Very nice location with an amazing beach, and a pod with all the facilities that we needed. Good to be able to use a grill outside as well.

We had an amazing 1 night stay last weekend. The pod is perfectly equipped and is only a 2 minute walk from the most amazing beach you will ever see. Loved the little fire pit and fairy lights outside the pod.

The pullout settee was broken, which made it more uncomfortable. If I am being picky, the pods did feel close together but still had a good time. The road leading to the pods could have had more signage and is very winding but well worth it once you arrive.

The pods are amazing, really warm when we opened the door. The site they are on has the most amazing beach very close by, which you will not believe you’re in Scotland. They are really well designed for a couple on a self catering holiday, with everything you would need. The communal barbecue, seating area and fire pit are a huge bonus. The double bed was really comfy, however the pull out settee wasn’t the most comfy, would be ok for a child perhaps, but that would be the only downside to the pod. We just had 1 pod for 4 adults which was very cosy, to say the least, but we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend. There is a small shop and chip shop on the site which could be better but that really didn’t ruin our stay

It says slept four (which it did in a pull out sofa bed) but there was really not enough room in this pod for 4 people.

It was close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Scotland, compact and clean.
