Phenomenal location Excellent, friendly, helpful staff All of the little touches were great. Artwork in the hotel was beautiful. Champagne on arrival. Breakfast was excellent. View of the sea from our room was perfect. They brought us orange juice and a croissant to enjoy in our room overlooking the water before breakfast.

The en suite facilities were a little "tight"

The location was spectacular and the property first class. In particular the staff was very helpful and specifically Kerri (Not sure if have spelt her name correctly but she was our host for the first few and the last day) was in every respect professional, kind and hospitable. She made the difference between a great stay and an unforgettable one.

Distance to town was a little further than 5 minutes but it was only a $5 taxi ride to town

The hotel was beautiful just like the pictures., bad was really comfy, and breakfast was fabulous . We also did the tasting menu held in the B&bl and that was fabulous.

Everything was great.

This hotel is high class with not that high price. The room was clean, well-designed, and comfortable. The lounge is a great place to spend the evening drinking whisky from the honesty bar, and the staff ensured we had the right atmosphere for a rainy evening. The food was also great, breakfast prepared by a chef, and was tasty and appealing. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city center, and you can walk along the promenade and enjoy the view.

After paying a high price for the overnight stay, the only disappointment was the cooked breakfast; the food being barely warm and not hot as you would expect.

The attention to detail from when you first arrived and were offered a welcome drink until you were farewelled. The hosts had thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The room was lovely with everything you could need including a fan as it was unseasonably warm. The bed was so comfortable with a light feather doona and feather pillows so I slept so well. We had a room with a view which I would highly recommend. There was a lovely sitting room where you could relax with a drink and watch the world go by as it had a view also.

For a large king size it was very small. A huge fan took up loads of room but was needed as it was very warm .

This place was fantastic. We had a bad experience in Oban before but this hotel and the staff were outstanding. Very welcoming, loved the decor, furniture and such. Wife took pictures so we could get some for home. Welcome drink, honesty bar (which is a brilliant concept) fantastic breakfast (really good), lovely staff. Great experience, no other option for when we return to Oban!

Room 7 bathroom is small but we’ll designed.

Excellent cook to order breakfast. House has handsome designer touches with attention to detail. Excellent Italian restaurant a few doors down.

Everything was terrific!

Our stay was simply delightful! Carrie greeted us warmly and offered us a lovely glass of champagne to sip during check in in the cozy sitting room. The room was impeccably clean and well-appointed. Breakfast in the gorgeous kitchen was outstanding. The ten-minute walk into town along the sea wall was beautiful, and we appreciated the giant umbrellas we got to borrow for the occasional rain. The room was quite small, which was perfect for a short stay but might be a bit snug for a longer stay.
