We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomA bulb was out by the main window, this can happen. The room was smaller and darker than we thought as we had previously stayed in the Gorgeous King Room, which was intimate and small. The mirror in the bathroom was not as bright if lit from behind, it would have helped with hair and makeup. The second room in the mirror near the plugs was very dark as it was its style and not great for doing makeup. Iron was not a steam iron, I would recommend a small steamer for each room instead removing the need for an ironing board. Would have loved the outside furniture area to be uncovered, perhaps a small pergola with a removable cover for shelter would be an enhancement for the future changeable weather conditions. Poor flush on the toilet which did not help with my stoma, however not unusable, we were on the very top floor, and it is an old building.
Breakfast was amazing especially when Riley was on, his creamed scrambled eggs were just lush no other word could describe them. Our host for the stay Rachel was attentive, friendly, and extremely great at service. We had an evening meal at Porchini at sister hotel No17 and the food was also out of this world. Our view in the room and the quality of the bed was exceptional. We will be back this is our second visit with our previous stay at number 17. 26 has a different feel, more relaxed and homely.

Staff particularly Carrie were great. Breakfast was excellent as was the juice & pastries left outside the bedroom first thing in the morning. Comfortable lounge to relax in with honesty bar and good views over the ocean. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure excellent. Room was a wee bit tight but given it’s an old building then this is too be expected. From a cost perspective yes it’s expensive relative to most hotels in Oban but we thought it was worth it taking into consideration the whole experience, not just the room size

Everthing was great, breakfast was great as you could see the chef making it for you and the little box at your room door with fresh orange juice and croissants when you wake up. There was an honesty box if you wanted a drink to sit outside at night.
