Lovely newly refurbished room in the heart of Oxford

Rooms was really small so it was a little difficult to navigate around with our suitcases. Absence of on-site parking made it a little difficult for us as we had a car rental

Newly refurbished building so rooms and bathrooms were immaculate. Location was very accessible to where we needed to go around Oxford. Brilliant contactless check in and check out service.

Self checkin is ok but the place is presented as a hotel and therefore there should be luggage storage facilities on premise.

We where comfortable in the back room which has a lovely view of the garden.

A contact number would have been good. We were parked in by an inconsiderate guest who made us wait until well after check-out time was exceeded in order to get our vehicle out. It would have been useful being able to contact the property to ask them to contact the guest who had exceeded the check-out time. It's not a criticism, simply a suggestion.

The venue is very nicely appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the furnishings and bedding were tasteful and of good quality. The bathroom was really nice with a good size shower. The check-in process was relatively straightforward via a machine inside the small lobby.

It was only after we had paid that we received a message to say that there was no parking offered at the property and that we would have to park 10 minutes walk away in a public car park. This was not convenient at all as we were moving our son into university and the car was full of things. The car park they suggested is quite small and there was no space when we arrived. Parking in Oxford is almost impossible, so we should have been informed before booking.

The room was at the back of the property. It was spacious, very clean and quiet with a lovely large window and view. Although the property is not in the heart of Oxford, there's a bus stop very close by with lots of buses so it's quick to get into town.

The overall appearance could be tidier. We were quite nervous walking up, it doesn't look well polished from the outside.

There are a few coffee shops nearby and the bus connection is regular. My daughter and I felt safe. It was clean - also the room was quite small - especially the bathroom. The price was good.

The carpet had a few dirty spots and the ground floor was noisy. Apart from that, you are doing a great job!

The room was furnished to a high standard. It was very comfortable and the garden view was nice. The location was great, especially if you like to walk. It was a little noisy, I could clearly hear the people above. That said I would stay there again. Thank you!

Room was quite hot, there was a fan in the room so that did help. Only small grumble was not realising that when you go out in garden past the fence, you can see straight into the other room. Maybe just a warning not to go past the fence, or keep your curtains closed. Would have liked a fridge in the room, just to be able to keep some milk or water. Tv wasn’t working. But that wasn’t a major issue.

Easy check in, touch screen check in, keycard printed. The property was clean and well presented. Bed was comfortable, bathroom very clean and shower was hot and powerful . Plenty of wardrobe space. Clean sheets and good quality towels. Good location as only a short walk into the town. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Despite there being parking for 3 cars. Parking was not offered despite having a disabled parking badge. Also the room was extremely hot , almost unbearable . In the good weather like it was that day a fan would have been good. The bedroom was in direct sunlight

    Very clean and good accommodation.

I was a bit disappointed because from the pictures I was expecting to have a nice view on a pretty garden but actually we were on the side of the street and there were workers doing their job right outside of our window, so not exactly what I was expecting :( Also, we were the first room at the entrance and the other guests weren't so gentle with the doors which were continuously and loudly slammed

The room location was next to the entrance ,every time someone opened the doors coming in or out woke me up. You need to fix your doors to be less noisy and reduce the slam as this is really a cause of noise especially after 11pm. Also for long stay guest ( we stayed a week), it is a must to do cleaning as advised and not skip a day!!

The beds were really comfy and firm. The room design was very smart and it felt like warm and welcoming.

Only real downside was that doors were really sprung throughout whole house and every ti e someone entered or left their room, the place shook! Luckily, this was not during the night when I stayed there.

Check in at kiosk easy (per email instructions in advance). Room (no 3) is good size, plenty of hanging space, bed comfy, kettle and good shower. Quiet too as towards back of property (which is on main road). I quite liked the walk into town, past the tennis club, botanical gardens etc. There are bus-stops nearby too.

Parking is a huge problem is Oxford and the recommended car park was full all weekend (we tried several times). We parked further out to find street parking, about 15 min walk from the house. Room was VERY small. Just enough space to walk around the bed. Difficult if we would have had larger luggage. The bathroom was very tiny and is not for slightly larger guests. The description on booking.com gives the impression that the rooms are quiet but that is true for the rooms to the back. We had a room to the side and got a lot of traffic noise from a very busy road.

Check in is through a self service kiosk by the front door. The house is well signed and there is tight parking space to unload your car. But you have to move your car more or less straightaway. Decor in the room was nice and modern. Bed very comfortable. We raised the issue with the noise and got a very quick response, which was much appreciated.

I thought there would be some person at reception or at least someone to contact for any problem instead of simply emailing them. This was more of an Airbnb type of accommodation. Perhaps I hadn’t read all the information regarding the guest house when booking.

The room was very comfortable with a lovely garden view and big windows. The bathroom was nice and modern. The location was good for walking around Oxford and there were several good restaurants to choose from, including a variety of cuisines.

Room was very small not like on any of the pictures, broken toilet seat which was quite dangerous. One of the blinds in the window was broken and could open it. Checking in system did not work so had to phone up and get it reset, which was done fairly quickly. Pity there are no facilities to park at the property. The car park they suggest is a 24 hour one. We did not use the car to go into the city so cost us £31 to park for 2 days.

Great location tea coffee facilities clean, walkable distance to city centre and a comfy bed and good shower. Relatively quiet except for builders next door!

The entryway with self check in was very small. There was another guest checking in when we arrived and they seemed to be having some trouble with the kiosk, so we had to wait outside for about 10 min

The location was excellent, close to the Botanical Gardens and on the bus route to the City Centre. There had clearly been a lot of effort and expense incurred in upgrading the property recently and the room was just lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the property was very quiet. The bathroom was modern, spacious and the shower was amazing

I would have preferred to have an onsite host. I had a couple of issues that would have been easier and quicker to resolve if someone had been available to talk to. Also, my cell signal wasn't very strong in that area, which meant I couldn't use my phone in the building. The signal was better outside, I discovered later.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. It was spacious and very clean. A few issues I had were quickly solved. (The check in was easy except that my cellphone signal was not very strong there, so I couldn't access the email about checking in, so would have had an issue if I couldn't remember the booking code.)
