I was expecting to pay for the hotel when I arrived or next morning in person, but payment was taken the morning of the day I was setting off. Not a problem, but I was going to opt to pay on a different card.

Collection of keys from lockbox made it very easy when arriving late. Free parking discs were a bonus

We arrived a little late, The information was great on how to enter the property, and we got in with ease, a lovely big room with a massive bed (room 7) fully equipped with everything you would need. Breakfast was well worth having, all fresh quality produce with a lovely cup of coffee which was barista style. We paid for the 2 day permit so parking down the side street or out front if you were lucky.... we were. I could fault anything here and would 100% book to stay here again.

Nothing to complain about!

Great location, easy parking, very clean with excellent housekeeping and a fab breakfast! All staff were friendly and helpful, couldn't have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Lovely walk with great views, from the hotel to the seafront. Great facilities in room and very well presented throughout, attention to detail with very good quality linen and towels. These guys know their onions, excellent value!

Really enjoyed our stay at Rowntree Lodge. The location was great, the room itself was very spacious, clean and complimented by great decor and furnishings. The bed was comfy too ! Will return again and would recommend.

There was nothing that we did not like about this place.

Well, what can I say? Rowntree Lodge was a very welcoming place to stay, just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to travel to other places on our weeks stay. Rooms checked and cleaned every day, very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again to stay here.

There isn’t anything I would change about the property. It is extremely well designed and stylish.

The apartment had a real wow factor! All the furniture, facilities and added extras all resulted in bringing a feeling of luxury. The location was perfect for witnessing some amazing views of the coast from only a short walk….

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and the breakfasts were delicious made with quality ingredients accompanied with great coffee.Would recommend the Rowntree Lodge when visiting Scarborough.

Rooms do get warm as no air con.

Location is perfect for accessing Scarborough but not too close to he disturbed by noise. Clean and sizable rooms with a very wonderful breakfast

The only small complaint because everything else was perfect. The shower lacked power but maybe this was because we were on the top floor.

The bed didn't allow any comfort and was very low . The mattress was the most uncomfortable matress I have ever encountered and ended up sleeping on the floor

There was noise from the room next door which was annoying. We'd also expected a different room type based on the booking we made. We had a seating area but no settee (as expected). This wouldn't usually be an issue but due to an injury I had to stay on the bed in the day as the chairs weren't suitable for me. If you could clarify the layouts better on descriptions it would be appreciated.

Breakfast was amazing - a lot of choice and all cooked well. The bed was lovely and comfy. It was a muggy few days and having a fan in the room made a massive difference - thank you.
