The stairs to the 3rd floor are a bit of a killer if you have heaps of luggage but not a real problem

Some additional bin bags and a coat rack would have been nice - it was tricky to hang three rain jackets without the furniture getting wet.

Location was brilliant and the kitchen was perfect for simple cooking.

It is difficult to get a good night’s sleep as you can hear the noise from the street and the smell the smoke from the people smoking below the streets even though we were on the third level and windows are closed shut. Also, there was only one toilet and bath for us 7-8 people.

It is within the city centre where it is very close to the main streets and attractions, clean and spacious.

Our apt was on a three floor walk up, the stairs are curved so with luggage was a bit challenging. We are here during the Fringe festival and as the location is a blessing because it is so close to everything it can get quite loud. But I’m sure if you are visiting another time it wouldn’t be as much of an issue and frankly doesn’t have anything to do with the apt owner.

In the heart of old town, everything is close to get to. Older building charm. The owner was so helpful, we checked in late and it was no problem. We had a bit of an issue with the bathroom sink and came as soon as we called to fix it.

It was quite expensive (although I acknowledge that Edinburgh is as it’s touristy), Appt was on Top floor with no lift so great if you like stairs! Otherwise Excellent.

Amazingly central and great facilities (kitchenette, living room etc). Easy to find.

The windows were porous and so the noise from the pubs and bars below was quite loud until late. The pillows should be replaced as they were very poor quality.

It was cold, and the toilet run all the time the flush not working. The toilet lock was bad we got locked in all the time.

The noise from the streets over night is a huge problem, it's very loud, but we were aware about that by reading the previous reviews. If they got a coffee maker and a frying pan would be great.

Location is great and the apartment is spacious and had nearly everything we needed.

Very very noisy, there were 5 of us and none of us managed a full nights sleep. The windows could be doing with an upgrade or some sort of measures put in place for noise reduction.

Noisy at night! Some of my friends were grumpy about having to climbseveral flights of narrow steep stairs.

Great location right on the Royal mile and walkable from the train station. Very affordable.

I think they need to have how hard it is by the stairs for older people glad we were only on the three floor Very damages also the bathroom need updating the floor felted like it was going into downstairs

No AC, weird controls on the heat so wasn't really sure if it was on or not. The street noise was very bad one night. Lots of raucous people out partying and yelling very late at night. 3 AM. The stairs were steep and awkward. 5 flights of stairs is a lot after a day running around Edinburg. The shower in the top floor apartment was VERY small. Some part of your body was always touching some surface in the shower. I have had larger showers in an RV.

The location was amazing. Right off the Royal Mile. Just Google Royal Mile on maps and that pin location is where the apartments are located.

What we really didn't like was noise. We went to bed quite early due to our early flight but it was so noisy we were up almost whole night. The windows don't fit so cannot be closed properly so it's absolutely noisy. Not sure if this is due to pipes on the highest floor (had apt 5) it was almost impossible to get proper shower, stream of water was very weak.

We got all the instructions well ahead so collecting the keys were really easy. Excellent location, walking distance to everywhere in old town. Apartment clean and very nice. We didn't do any cooking but kitchen seemed well equipped.

The bed was too short. Still strange that you must pick up the key at a pizzeria. Stairs not clean through two pigions!
