Newton Cottage was beautiful. Jane was out when we arrived, so Jonathan and their daughter Alexandra took great care of us. The helped us find a place to eat and arranged both the reservations for the restaurant and the taxi. My aunt stayed on the second floor and my husband and I had the third. We loved that we had a separate sitting room. Since he was an early-riser, he could get up and have a cup of coffee while I slept in just a little. The house and gardens are just beautiful (the wisteria was in bloom). It was so fun to walk around with Jonathan and hear about the history of the house.

Beautiful house with wonderful gardens and sea view. Friendly welcome, extremely lovely hosts. Amazing breakfast with lots of choice. Size of the suite and facilities was great. Car parking Everything was wonderful and we look forward to returning.

Hospitality was great, a friendly welcome and delicious breakfasts. The house is beautiful with fresh flowers and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable with the fragrance from the wisteria coming into through the window.

Beautiful period house with stunning gardens, Jane and Jonathan were superb hosts with attention to detail and thoughtful touches such as homemade cakes and bottles of prosecco for my husbands birthday. All the bed linen, towels and bathrobes were lovely quality and the bed was super comfy. The selection at breakfast was first class. A lovely birthday treat.

Beautiful place with lovely rooms and lots of little extras which made us feel special. Buffet breakfast was delicious and our hosts Jane and Jonathan were so attentive. Lovely toiletries and fluffy towels in the bathroom. We were only there for one night but wish we could have stayed longer!

The room was beautiful, with lots of thoughtful little touches. The breakfast was top notch! It was all above and beyond expectations. Jane and her husband were so kind and welcoming. It is walking distance to a great pub which does excellent food and walking distance to the beach. Would definitely stay here again and recommend others to! Thanks

What a wonderful find . Jane & Jonathan were such friendly, welcoming hosts. Room was spacious and the extra welcome gifts of homemade cake, prosecco and a choclate bunny, as it was Easter, were appreciated and such a lovely touch . The breakfast was fabulous. We will definately go back.

Newton Cottage was a delightful place to stay. The room was comfortable with home made cakes each day and complimentary prosecco on arrival.
