There were two bottles of water in the room (complimentary) which was a lovely touch but one was half open - apart from that everything else was lovely. It was also very cold and we couldn’t figure out how to use the heating system

The property itself is beautiful and very quiet. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were so so comfy and the shower was also lovely. Location wise it was 15/20 mins drive to popular bourton on the water. We ate at the restaurant and the food was exceptional - best food we’ve had in a long time.

Amazing location, no signal other than the wifi at the inn which was just perfect for 2 days! Great stuff, good food, some really tasty deserts.

It’s something, which was to be expected, but still wasn’t pleasant. We weren’t sleeping above the pub but in a separate building. Still, as people were walking by our door or going down the stairs, it was, as if they were standing or talking or walking next to my ear. The walls are thin. You can hear everyone loud and clear, which was weird, because that means, that people can hear you as well.

It is very charming, the breakfast was perfect, dinner was perfect.

    Nothing. It was all wonderful

Loved how quiet it was, the outside area to drink with heating. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The property was incredibly clean and the breakfast was fantastic, the poached eggs were perfect and the local sausage was lovely.

Tired in places and food offering for main courses limited and those on offer did not excel. Countered by good offering on entrees that reached expected standard. Bedrooms are tired but acceptable

Wasn’t overly impressed with the BBQ breakfast.. sausages a bit burnt and wafer thin bacon. Prefer more of a standard no nonsense full English.

We staid here for our wedding night. We used to live in Coln so know the property well and it was close to our venue / wedding reception. Lovely large room.

Very minor things - no clear signs for reception & checking in. The car park can be full. Child's hand prints on door mirror in the room.

Lovely location, very relaxing atmosphere, room was very spacious, well equipped room, staff were pleasant, nice that room was freshened in the morning with towels etc. breakfast was lovely.

However, it is worth noting that during the night, the intermittent noise of the external extractor fans can be heard, which may slightly disrupt the tranquility of the stay.
