noisey house next door playing very loud music , not much seating for the bar in the restaurant, expensive breakfast had to return my eggs Benedict as sour bread burnt and eggs hard, the staff apologised and replaced

Generally it is quite overpriced, because the building is old and you can hear everything happening around, especially neighbors flushing toilet or taking a shower. The furniture is also quite dated, and my bed linen had some weird odor, I guess it’s because of some cheap washing powder (at least I hope so, because I don’t want to think that it wasn’t changed after previous guests).

The location is quite nice for those wanting to hike around the area, since the hotel is located right next to the trail to the Cow Hill from which you can see a picturesque panoramic view of Fort William. The restaurant is very good, and there are a few nice amenities in the room like a wide variety of hot drinks to boil by yourself and cookies.

Breakfast was a little pricey.

Rooms have comfortable beds, large bathrooms and the AC works well. Breakfast was also quite tasty with pastries, fruit and cook to order options. Parking was easy too!

The staff was a very accomodating as we were running late due a terrible card accident. They held our dinner reservation at the restaurant and ensured we were taken care of.

Although its states there are stairs, the reality of having to lug a suitcase upstairs doesn’t hit you until you have to do it. Could hear showers/water running in nearby rooms when people were in their bathrooms throughout the night. A smoke alarm type alarm, went off in what seemed to be in the next room to me at 5am in the morning. This was very frightening awakening to this at that hour. Kept going for a few minutes. When I spoke to reception about it in the morning, I was told they had no record of it so it couldn’t have happened onsite. The care factor was nil from them.

A nice clean, comfortable space. Also had an in house restaurant…great after a long drive to not have to worry about going anywhere else.

WiFi did not work in the resturant which when u r on your own is an issue, no lunch during the week which if u r working a night shift is an issue as i had to find somewhere in the town to have some lunch, i was too tired for breakfast as i had worked until 6am.

Everything good, the staff were lovely, i had wet clothes that needed dried for the next night shift, was allowed to hang it in the boiler room.

Staff were outstanding, kind well mannered and listened to the guest and willingness to help. The food was great and well prsented. Freshly made breakfast is a welcome treat as most places serve buffet style hot food.

Hotel is fantastic location, walking distance to shops,bars and basically anywhere you are looking to go in Fort William. Hotel was spotless, room was modern, cosy, and bed so comfortable. Restaurant food was absolutely delicious.

Crazy noises most of the night from (I think!?) the extraction fans in our room and nearby.

An emergency stay after major travel disruption from Storm Gerrit. Easy parking and the most fabulous breakfast. Very friendly staff. At the edge of town.

Shower mixer/taps didn't work properly, making it difficult to have a hot shower and then get the water turned off.
