A friendly, easily accessed hotel. Excellent food from the evening menu and good breakfast choices. Bed super comfy and room clean. Nothing too much trouble for staff.

Being woken up by guests attending a wedding. From 2am until 4am laughing shouting and door slamming.

Lovely big room, lovely big bathroom, powerful shower. Nice meal and reasonably priced drinks.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Bed very comfortable but slightly on the soft side for me. Lovely breakfast. Accomodated my last minute request for walk in shower no problem at all. Will be back.

The property was in a lovely location well kept grounds and all facilities were clean and fresh staff were very helpful very professional and great service ,would definitely recommend it to friends . we attended a friends wedding and they couldn't praise you enough

Great location, excellent facilities. The rooms are bright, spacious and very well maintained, modern and comfortable public areas. The breakfast is very good, we also had dinner on both nights in the lounge bar which was well cooked and plentiful. All the staff were helpful friendly and very welcoming. Without doubt they would be my number one reason for returning which we plan to do next year.

We initially found ourselves in a room with disabled facilities, but the manager resolved the issue while we had dinner. Would prefer windows to open further. Breakfast a little limited if you like fruit and natural yoghurt.

Modern, bright room which appeared very clean, with no trace of dog - hotels should be people friendly, not dog friendly. Windows opened for fresh air. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

The skirting in the bedroom and bathroom tiling could do with a good clean. Maybe even a fresh coat of paint.

I got a really brilliant discounted stay with breakfast included and money off dinner. Dinner was very good and the room had a king size bed.

I booked the dinner included option (£25 allowance per person) but when we went for dinner most of the main courses were over £20 each so I had to pay extra to add drinks etc making it a very expensive dinner.

took us a while to work out how the reading lights worked but they simply turned on when you pulled them out at an angle.

very easy to find. lovely setting. lots of quirky accessories dotted about and gorgeous floral displays. huge bed and accessible bathroom. delicious breakfast too. had obviously been recently refurbished. phone charging points in the headboard along with reading light.

Nothing really to complain about... Perhaps a Nespresso machine would also be nice in the room instead of only a kettle (I stayed in the Pendle suite).

The whole team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and professional. I appreciated the quality of the tasteful decoration of the room and the hotel in general. The bed was also very comfortable, allowing me to have a great night's rest away from home. Another highlight was the restaurant where I enjoyed a delicious meal and more elegant service.

The dinner, bed and breakfast deal was not including dinner. It was a £25 voucher per person which did not even cover all the mains.

The food was delicious and to a high standard. The room spotless. The location beautiful.
