We stayed for a week and thought we should have had a clean in that time although there was clean towels and toilet paper available. I have stayed here before. Also the room had some maintenance issues which didn’t effect our stay but I reported it to the staff who seemed a bit disinterested in but would have affected the building. Such as sensor lights not turning off so on 24/7

Toilet didn't flush consistently or sometimes at all. It was really loud and we were woken up by othe rooms flushing their toilet twice.

Odd switching arrangement of bedside lights, so one side of the bed could not turn on their bedside light in the night, since all controlled by the other side! The bathroom sink plug would not stay down which made face washing difficult. The step down near the bed was hard to see and a potential hazard - a white line or brass plate on it (like in the downstairs lounge) would be a good idea. More hangers would have been nice, not much clothes storage apart from hanging. A longer stay with more clothes might have been tricky. Coat hooks on the expansive wall would have helped too. Adding some cereal bowls with muesli etc would have completed the breakfast offering.

Well placed for museums and Royal Albert Hall. Very comfortable bed, very clean with a nice smell, plenty of very helpful staff. They placed free mini fridge in our room on request. The breakfast food was high quality and lovely, with freshly squeezed organs juice and. Sour dough bread.

The bedroom door keyboard system wasn’t working, which was a bit of an irritant as we had to get staff members to open our room. However the guy on reception sorted it out and it appeared to be a system problem.

Breakfast was very good and varied. The first time I’ve had hummus as a breakfast option.

Only had a giant rainshower so get ready to wash your hair every day and perform some modern dance in order to clean your privates. I feel like this is a given in London but keep in mind that even if you use the elevator, there are still little sets of 2 or 3 steps to climb throughout.

Didn't notice when booking but this is a self check-in hotel that charges extra for optinional housekeeping. We prefer minimum contact but if you're looking for a decadent, pampering experience; this is not that. Staff at the desk seemed very helpful to other guests though. And really good breakfast!

The staff were very nice but basically just directed you to self check in, self luggage storage, self serve breakfast which is fine and I guess that’s how they keep their costs down.

Great location, a short walk from South Kensington tube station which is on the Piccadilly line so perfect for travel to Heathrow. The room was huge by London standards and modern and comfortable.

Standard room having closet, safe and room for our suitcases when we arrived.

Hotel location is good. We were at room 301 first that was awful room and substandard for a hotel. We could not use the toilet that was about 8” higher than a normal toilet. We had to use the toilet in the basement. Then we were moved to room 1 that was much better.

Basement rooms lack multiple lighting and would be good to have a mini fridge in rooms (especially as when we stayed, it was 32 degrees).

I was bombarded by Sonder for months with text messages and emails asking me to sign up to get a check in code. Their website was extremely temperamental and it took many attempts to finally succeed in signing up. There is no housekeeping service in the hotel, which is strange for a non-budget hotel like this.

The location is excellent, close to museums and South Kensington station as well as Chelsea attractions. The staff are friendly, rooms nice and clean and the breakfast pastries very nice.

I wasn't aware that a daily tidy-up of the room wasn't included, which was a bit of a shame but overall everything was great.

The plumbing is incredibly loud; we couldn’t turn our bedroom lamps on without the big light also coming on, which seemed like bizarre wiring; and we had to wait a while for someone to help with collecting our bags from the storage room.

Clean, comfortable spaces; friendly staff; great breakfast; lovely neighbourhood.
