Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWindow didn't open and I felt the design of the room worked for us as a married couple but I am not sure the open plan bathroom would work if I was staying with a friend.
Cleanliness is important and I think the design leant itself to easy cleaning. House keeping via the WhatsApp worked well. Location, excellent. Very helpful reception team. The style was different, I liked it, never stayed in an hotel before without a key, or key card, remembering the 6 numbers to use the lift and enter the room soon became straight forward. Safe, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. House keeping cleaned every 3 days, if we wanted more, there was a fee. Using WhatsApp for clean towels and tea bags was super efficient. Would use again.

United KingdomWe were at the front of the hotel so had to have the blind closed for privacy a lot of the time so it was dark. Could benefit from privacy glass or even half of the window at the bottom having a privacy screen or opaque window covering to still allow light in? Also a bit noisy on the Saturday night but that’s to be expected from a central location so we expected that .

United KingdomThe room lock/code system could be an issue if you were in a hurry/had a drink or two...but certainly secure. I didn't like the fact that no window could opened, somewhat distressing, and that the blinds were not able to block out the early morning light, the one thing that would prevent another summertime visit.
The room was clean, spacious and light. It was quiet and we both slept well. Good pillows! Location was excellent, all that Brighton has to offer close by.

United KingdomThe room is a little tired and spartan. We didn't like the side "wings" attached to the either side of the bed, makes getting in and out of it a little awkward. Could do with a couple more drinking glasses too. The sink was very slow to drain due to a build up of hair in the plug hole. Also the security code keypad is a faff for lift and room access.
The pre booked underground parking is convenient. The hotel has a great central location, opposite the Brighton Dome for gigs and walking distance to the many great restaurants Brighton has to offer. The room has a fridge which is very handy. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of quality produce, especially the bacon roll.

Really good quality hotel — room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I slept well in the bed and the shower was great. Very good value for the money. Good facilities. Brilliant central location and very friendly, helpful staff.

Location of hotel very convenient, near a lot of things. There was a pre-check in option therefore check in process at the hotel was extremely quick. Hotel room was nice, spacious and clean. Finally just a short walk from train station.
