There are no printed instructions in the home and no one met us to go over how things worked. Most everything was included in a message prior to arrival but it was very inconvenient to have to keep going back to an email when a paper copy in the home would be so much better. We're from the US and had no clue how to use the oven. Luckily, after going through all of the kitchen drawers, we finally located the original owners manual to the oven but it would have been nice to have had instructions on arrival. We had also planned to use the clothes washer but didn't find out until a few days prior to arrival that it was broken and this was only because I asked specifically about it. The agent was very quick to respond and suggested a local laundry mat however, that didn't work out due to our itinerary of day trips and the hours they were open. We even cut our one day trip short in order to get back in time to use it but we missed the 'last load' deadline by 8 minutes. We had issues with the garbage not having been emptied from the bathrooms after the previous guests and Anne did send apologies and was willing to send someone from the cleaning crew back but, still, not a pleasant beginning to our stay.

Great location and loved having the off street parking. The rooms and beds are comfortable and it's a quiet location. It's easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown. The agent, Anne, was quick to reply to messages.

The Host was a wonderful lady. There was everything provided that you could want. Very comfy, great facilities, excellent central location with onsite parking. Couldn't be better x

Property internally really does need some minor updates. The water in the upstairs toilets overflows when flushing so not really usable. Landlord should inspect the level of cleaning the housekeeping do as the place was quite dusty in places and needs a good clean.

Kitchen sink and table mats had not been properly cleaned and carpets needed vacuuming, which was disappointing. A quick check before should have been done. More cutlery and bowls needed in kitchen.

There was supposed to be something to put the recycling in, but we found nothing and had to leave it on a small table. Nothing for food waste either.

The location was perfect. Easy to find with google maps. Central to the town centre, but quiet and secluded. Perfect parking. Altogether a great find if a littel expensive for 2 people.

Cosy, pleasant and comfortable house in the middle of town. Withing walking distance of the town centre, excellent eateries, takeaways, the museum and the park. A couple of minutes drive from the supermarket. Also centrally located in the Cotswolds so it's very easy to visit surrounding villages, Bath and even Oxford. Free parking is a plus, as well as the possibility to sit outside.

Something I didn't quite like was the fact that one of the doors couldn't be closed because the bed clashed with the way of the door.

Location was excellent, great information given in a PDF and the house was fantastic for three people. Ample space for parking and very quiet. Everything was delightful. My family did enjoy being there.

The en suit bathroom could do with towel rails and toiletry storage, maybe a shelf or 2. The toilet is loose and should be secured. The 2nd bathroom's shower leaks a little water. I would suggest the wifi login details be displayed inside the house for ease of use. I did find some dirty dishes in the cupboard as well.

The house was lovely. Well located and cosy. The parking was a great bonus in the town with little parking available. Walking distance to the main town, church and museum, market, shops. Lovely cottage with old world feel. Well stocked with home comforts for cooking. Nice sized kitchen and dining area.

It felt quite cold, even when we’d boosted heating, draft from front door - due to cold weather when we were there. Twin bedroom a bit small, when beds pushed apart (as daughters preferred) the door wouldn’t close. Kitchen hob hadn’t been cleaned, and we couldn’t find a dishwasher tablet, not major but meant we had to go and buy some.

Beautifully furnished house, ideal location, great to have parking. Double bedrooms great, beds comfortable.

We would have liked it to be a little warmer, those without a human to heat them would have liked a heavier duvet tog or more heating
