Very clean, comfortable and homely accommodation. Full of nice little touches. The living room has a nice couch and a good telly, with a desk for working if needed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern with a good shower. Little complimentary treats left in the fridge, and there was some breakfast items and tea/coffee.

Well thought out property. Lovely layout, comfortable and every room smells amazing! Fantastic touches with baked goods, breakfast foods, milk, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel! The owner was lovely and very responsive.

I stayed at Mrs Hortons Guest Room whilst on a business trip, and it was a great choice. Everything you need and more. I was really looked after so big thank you to the owners. The cool story about Mrs Horton really adds to the stay.

The room was fresh clean and modern. The owner gave good instructions for finding and entering the property. A small kitchenette had everything for a microwave meal. Some breakfast items were provided and a cake treat in the fridge. Fresh milk was great. The washing machine was appreciated. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely annex with such nice welcoming touches including cookies and drinks in the fridge and some items to have a continental breakfast, It was perfect for us. Couple were lovely and had a dog just like ours

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely decor and fantastic large TV. Great shower and toiletries. Comfortable bed in a quiet area of the village. Cereal, crumpets,milk, cake, crisps and beer were left for us which meant we didn’t have to go searching for a shop as soon as we arrived. Off road parking.

Hands down the best room/apartment I've stayed in and at a fabulous price. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. Bed is so comfy, we had the best night's sleep in a long time. There is so much room - big main area with bed, L-shaped settee (which pulls out into a double bed), little table and chairs in the corner. Massive TV with prime video and netflix etc on it. Furniture and soft furnishings are great quality and lovely colours. Bathroom is a good size, lots of hot water. Towels are thick and fluffy. There were huge bottles of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, which smelt like spa products. Hand soap and hand lotion by the sink, again they spelt amazing. Kitchen area is great - fridge with a small freezer inside, microwave, toaster. Cutlery, plates, bowls, lots of glasses etc, and all of a good quality and matching. It's the extra touches that make this place outstanding: Little bottle of milk, wine and butter in the fridge, plus mini boxes of cereals, crumpets, crisps and cakes left for us on arrival. Dog treats for our dog, and a water bowl and food bowl. Lots of information on the local area, the history of the house and leaflets for local takeaways. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean. Host is very helpful and friendly. I'll definitely book again and will be recommending it to family and friends.

Bathroom was very cold. Radiator inadequate for size of room and tiles were freezing.

Ideally situated for us. Well fitted out with everything we needed for our overnight stop. Comfortable bed and massive television!

Immaculate, very well located and equipped. Welcome pack(Beers, cookies and cereals ( and milk)) were left which was a nice touch as there are no formal breakfast arrangements. Bed very comfortable - apartment very clean and comfortable.quiet location big tv!

Initially the place was cold &we couldn't get the heating to work but the owners came quickly & showed us how to operate it.Apart from that, all was perfect.

A fab little annex which is well decorated, comfortable, clean & has all the facilities you need for a great stay.The welcome goodies for us & treats for our dog were very much appreciated.

Gorgeous decor perfectly clean and comfortable, heating was great gave us blankets each, left food for us to eat in the morning including 2 beers for us to have whilst we were getting ready! felt like we were at home for the night a really lovely stay. Host was more than accommodating even offered to give us a lift to the wedding we were at. 100% recommend

Great communication from the host - even arranged a later check out to fit in with our plans. Great facilities, spotlessly clean, excellent shower, great night's sleep. We had everything we needed and more. Loved the treats and breakfast extras - fresh milk, crumpets and cereal - great touch.

What an absolutely beautiful place. Every detail is top notch, and the layout is perfect. Also, the snacks and beer were a nice touch. It was a very interesting history lesson from the pictures as well.
