Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaThe overall cleanliness of our room was a bit underwhelming. Our bathroom smelt like it had been used right before we entered. They had a really cool photobooth that I was eager to use but unfortunately it wasn't working :(
The overall aesthetic and vibe of the Moxy was exceptional. The staff were wonderful, and the bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast!

United StatesThough newer, the property is not aging well. This was my third stay and little things like hanging hooks are loose and shower frame is corroded. These little things need to be dealt with before they get more intrusive.
Good for a quick near airport stay. Parking is a plus as well as the security staff on property. Staff dealt with a problem well and were very quick to fix the issue.
