Not over fussy on continental breakfast in Scotland. Would have appreciated a bit of bacon with my toast.

Location was ideal for buses and trains.

Needs more furniture: like trash bin in the room (only bin was in the bathroom with no bag in it! Not hygienic), side tables for bed, small mirror next to table, we needed a fridge since the room was little hot and they had the heating system on and it was a little warm outside and inside, they provided a fan but didn’t switch the cool system it gets hot at night since our room was on first floor and the window opens to a skylight

The location is great and very clean. Staff were very friendly. Comfortable and size of room is great.

No china mugs in the bedroom for tea in the morning only paper ones. Not great particularly for your English guests.

There was no phone in the room to contact the reception. We had to call on hotel number for every small thing. It got extremely hot in the night and thermostat did not work. No coffee in the room, only teabags were available Breakfast options are only cold breakfast. But there are many restaurants just down the hotel so this was ok and manageable for short stay

The location is really amazing. Tram and bus stop are just two minutes walk from the property. All the major attractions are easily accessible by foot.

I didnt like that there was no telephone in the room and no water . Also no safe . But i guess the other positive things about the hotel compensate these minor things

I liked the location , the comfort . I felt like home . Safe and cozy . Its good for single travelers. Good price too

The room was a little small and it could have been cheaper but I appreciate that is what you pay now for this size of room in this location.

I loved that when I phoned to ask if we could drop off bags prior to check in, the staff member said yes and that we may be able to get accesss to our room early (which we did). Also I loved the little magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The location was fabulous. The bar was very nice.

Rooms are a bit sparse, more functional than stylish.

Great location! We had a room facing onto Prince’s Street and it was very quiet, even above a bustling street. Walking distance to the Playhouse and loads of food/drinks options all around.

Room does not match those in advert. The room is similar to those of premier inn/travelodge. No where to sit and apply makeup or straighten hair etc. Can do it standing in bathroom but it's a nuisance when other person wants shower etc and obviously can't use straighteners in bathroom.

Wonderful staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location could not be any better. Room was spotlessly clean.

The location is extremely central, especially if you're arriving by train. The hotel is just a short walk from Edinburgh Waverley station. It's also a quick and pleasant walk to the Royal Mile. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Edinburgh.

It’s nothing g I disliked… it’s just A little difficult finding the entrance at first, and a bit confusing when trying to get to check in( you enter on the side street, and go up the stairs or 1 floor up to check in)

Loved the location Close to the team and trains and busses Close to lots of restaurants too and a short walk to the castle and other sights The hotel staff was friendly and d helpful

Tiny window with no view but we were only there to sleep so it didn’t really matter.

Very central and easy to get to. Room was very basic but very clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel kept our bag for us after we checked out until we were ready to get the train later in the afternoon so we didn’t have to take it around the city with us. Would stay here again. We didn’t try the food here so can’t comment on that.
