Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The cleanliness and the property owner. Also the security, a lock to get in the property and a smart lock with a code for your personal room. Felt very secure and safe.

Irelandhouse with older heating system but it works!
Location is really really good I think. Very close to airport (5mins by car) and also about 30-40mins walk from Luton Town or a 10min journey via bus, 8mins by car. Uber/other cabs easily available in the area. It's residential so nice and quiet. Interior was very clean and cleaned daily which I appreciated. Overall good stay!

United KingdomWhen I arrived home in the evening because it was dark, I couldn’t see the numbers properly to get back in so I was out there quite awhile. I had to use my light in the end on my phone because there’s a light outside the house but it had no lightbulb in it so really the lightbulb needs to be sorted out.

United KingdomWe had no problems but only stayed 1 night before our early morning flight. The check in instructions mentioned a smart key which we didn't find. I told the host it was not a problem and there was no need or opportunity to rectify this due to our short stay.
It's on a quiet residential street. It is right nextdoor to the airport. The host is really friendly and approachable.

United Kingdomliterally a house on a residential road. front garden overgrown, no fencing, biffer bin in the lawn, thought it was derelict at first. this is an hmo in reality but it would appear with none of the legal requirements i.e. no signage, back boiler in room but no carbon monoxide sensor, no smoke/fire sensors nor alarm, no emergency lighting. shared bathroom. advert says 1/2 mile from airport but in reality over 1.5 mile walk.

Excellent location. Drove to the airport in less than 5 minute's. Shops and place to get food within a 5 minute walk. TV, shower room. We asked for a futon mattress and it was brought to us no issues. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Excellent price and probably quicker to the airport than if you stayed in an airport hotel.

Irelandour shower did not have hot water. the beds felt like they had been dragged out of a dump, they were not great or comfortable but the bedding was lovely.
the service and access was excellent, the owner was amazing, and he even went out of his way to help us with a taxi. the room is a very good size and it was clean and it was a great price, the downstairs kitchen was well equipped and the place had everything really. the whole room was really nice, not bad at all. it is very close to the airport which is a real bonus.

United KingdomCould not gain access at 22.10hrs. Access-phone-number not answered. Tatty semi-detached with no signage, lighting or parking. Another guest let us into lobby and gave us different mobile number for Manager, who arrived 15 mins later and refused us entry to room! He said he'd cancelled our booking and let the room to someone else. He used my phone to email Booking.com (despite having 3 mobiles himself) to look as if I had cancelled my own booking. We had no choice but to find another room at midnight, before a 4.30am Airport check-in. Not good for my 80-year-old partner.😔
