The description said futon bed but it was a floor mattress. For our short-stay was ok but would not have wanted a longer stay however flight did reflect this.

Cost and friendly host all via Wats app. Good for an over night stop over stay before early airport flight. Would use again under same circumstances

When I arrived home in the evening because it was dark, I couldn’t see the numbers properly to get back in so I was out there quite awhile. I had to use my light in the end on my phone because there’s a light outside the house but it had no lightbulb in it so really the lightbulb needs to be sorted out.

We had no problems but only stayed 1 night before our early morning flight. The check in instructions mentioned a smart key which we didn't find. I told the host it was not a problem and there was no need or opportunity to rectify this due to our short stay.

It's on a quiet residential street. It is right nextdoor to the airport. The host is really friendly and approachable.

our shower did not have hot water. the beds felt like they had been dragged out of a dump, they were not great or comfortable but the bedding was lovely.

the service and access was excellent, the owner was amazing, and he even went out of his way to help us with a taxi. the room is a very good size and it was clean and it was a great price, the downstairs kitchen was well equipped and the place had everything really. the whole room was really nice, not bad at all. it is very close to the airport which is a real bonus.

Could not gain access at 22.10hrs. Access-phone-number not answered. Tatty semi-detached with no signage, lighting or parking. Another guest let us into lobby and gave us different mobile number for Manager, who arrived 15 mins later and refused us entry to room! He said he'd cancelled our booking and let the room to someone else. He used my phone to email Booking.com (despite having 3 mobiles himself) to look as if I had cancelled my own booking. We had no choice but to find another room at midnight, before a 4.30am Airport check-in. Not good for my 80-year-old partner.😔

Room was small but the bed was a double bed which was perfect for me, very comfy. Clean linens, a bit hot but I opened the windows so it was fine. Quiet neighbourhood, the landlord waited for my arrival no his phone and promptly gave me the instructions for entering the building and room.

When I asked the owner about the tv remote he said he will check but never got back to me. I texted him again asking if he could give me a code to another room so I could grab a remote from another room he agreed. So I got the remote at 10.30pm (staying for 1 night only) It was quite close to luton airport Bed was comfy No night light, so I had to put on the bathroom light and partially close the door to have a soft light at night when watching tv

I was booked to a room where somebody stayed already (the room was occupied) when I called the owner he came straight away and gave me a different room. Room was not very nice. Bed sheets looked clean but didn't smell fresh. Carpet from the 80's. Tones of dust on the chandelier. The descriptions said there is a spa bath in the room. There was no bath at all just a shower cabin from the 80's. There was no remote for the Tv. Also the room descriptions said loads of other things were provided, such as bath robe, slippers etc. None of them were there

No hot water as whole house uses it so freezing shower in morning. No sheet for the pullout and had to argue for one as he told me I should just sleep directly on pull out. Like wt_? No fridge but he did install one at the end of the night. No light on entry, so you can’t see the lock box to get the key out. No code sent by booking.com so that you can get in and out of your room in case you forget code. No protection on ground windows so two older ladies can’t leave their windows open when they sleep 🙄cause some could easily just climb in. But a positive, a 6 pound taxi trip that took 10 mins to airport so that was convenient.

We were unable to contact the host. He did not reply to WhatsApp nor Booking messages. We were not given any instructions on how to check in despite texting and calling many times before the ckeck in time. We arrived at the place merely an hour before check-in and he was late. He arrived only after Booking contacted him which was past the check in time. He claimed that he saw our texts and calls but did not answer them because we are Polish and they have been made from a Polish number. He arrived and said that he had been overbooked and has no room for us. He demanded that we cancel our reservation and then he will magically find a room for us. He refused to cancel the reservation himself and said that we need to trust him. We said that we would rather consult Booking on this and wanted to call them to which he replied that if we want to call Booking we should leave and never come back. It all seemed very shady as we had no guarantee that we would get a room after we cancel. We have proof of this conversation which was presented to Booking's Customer Service. The host now lies about the whole situation.

From what we know it was not his first time as we spoke to other people that had been treated this way. If you want to rest before or after your flight, we suggest you stay away from this place as no good will come of it.

The room was very hot, i think the thermostat was bad, i tried opening the window but only one widow opened, the room was burning hot, we couldnt sleep. I had a shower twice on the night time.
